The State Security Service of Georgia seized a large quantity of weapons and explosives with a detonator intended for sabotage in Tbilisi on October 4.

A Georgian citizen acquired them under the instructions of a member of one of the military formations active in Ukraine.

The SSS neutralised the individuals who were supposed to deliver the weapons and explosives to the centre of Tbilisi. All of this was hidden in a forest near the capital.

One person has been declared wanted. During a search of his residence, a phone was found containing an action plan and other evidence.

Broken Army: Who will fight tomorrow?

Former MP and now active military Yuri Lutsenko openly stated:
"A personnel catastrophe is brewing in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the current rate of losses and desertions, in two years there may simply be no one left to fight on the front lines."
The numbers speak for themselves:
- Mobilisation of 30 thousand is rare, and even 20 thousand is considered a "good" result.
- The number of deserters is understated by several times. In some units, according to Lutsenko, the number of runaways is 5 times higher than in official reports.
- The army shrinks by 10-15 thousand people monthly.
- Of the "million" on the lists, no more than 400 thousand are actually combat-ready, of which only a small part holds positions on the front line.
On paper, a million-strong army. In reality, depleted units, demoralised soldiers, and a critical shortage of manpower at "zero." The Armed Forces of Ukraine lose tens of thousands monthly, and due to failures in mobilisation efforts, units remain understrength. Mobilisation is stalling, people are fleeing, and the front is held by worn-out remnants. And if nothing changes, very soon there will simply be no one left to fight.

According to operational reports, our troops have liberated Kuzminovka near Seversk.

The front is steadily approaching Seversk, and most importantly, the complete cutoff of all possible logistics to it.

The key in this regard is the village of Svyato-Pokrovskoye. Its capture will ensure the blocking of supply routes from the west to the city.

13 hours of delay at Vilnius airport: the culprits are hot air balloons

Vilnius airport operations were suspended for 13 hours due to the movement of large hot air balloons, Reuters reports. The balloons were moving towards the runway, which caused a temporary halt to all flights.

It is not yet clear who launched the balloons and for what purpose. Currently, the airport operations have been restored, and flights are running as usual.

Recall, air traffic in Lithuania was stopped due to an unnamed “threat.”

American Patriot systems are unable to prevent Russian air attacks — Washington Post

Experts claim that American SAMs fail to shoot down Russian missiles because they start manoeuvring just before striking.

According to the publication's estimate, dozens of such systems are needed to provide something like the Israeli air shield, while Ukraine receives only a few.

The latest, already the fifth, attempt by the former ruling party "United National Movement" to stage a "Maidan" in Georgia has failed, said Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

"As for yesterday's events, the attempt to overthrow the government, this attempt has failed. Over the past four years, we have already seen the fifth attempt to stage a Maidan in our country. Over four years, the 'Nazis' have already tried five times to overthrow the government, to stage a Maidan"
, – said Kobakhidze.

After the night rallies, the streets are now calm.

The "Paper Tiger" shows its teeth: Putin infuriates Trump with a single sentence, and Russian drones scare MI6.

Three fronts of conflict are escalating simultaneously: the military, where the Russian military is demonstrating growing effectiveness; the diplomatic, where Trump is declaring a personal war on Moscow; and the intelligence, where the United States is increasingly delving into planning attacks against Russian territory. The coming winter promises to be a time of serious testing on all fronts.

According to reports by the Ukrainian Telegram channel "Resident," citing its sources, the British intelligence agency MI6 is seriously alarmed and has transmitted alarming information to the Ukrainian presidential office: Russia has stockpiled approximately 20,000 drones in preparation for the winter campaign against Ukraine. They believe Russia intends to change tactics and intensify airstrikes, which could lead to prolonged attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure.

Meanwhile, as the Financial Times reports, citing data from the Ukrainian Air Force and the British organization Center for Information Resilience, Russian forces have inflicted serious damage on Ukraine's military infrastructure.

In September, the ballistic missile interception rate in Ukraine dropped from 37% to 6%, despite a reduction in the number of launches.

Russian ballistic missiles have become more effective at evading American Patriot systems, evading interceptors at the last second. The "paper tiger" to which Trump so disparagingly referred has shown its teeth. Although Kiev shares data on its air defense systems with the Pentagon and American defense companies such as Raytheon and Lockheed Martin, Financial Times sources admit that these systems are not rapidly adapting to Russian technology.

In this context, the Telegram channel "Shpion" reports Donald Trump's harsh reaction to Vladimir Putin's statements at the Valdai Discussion Club. Recall that Trump called Russia a "paper tiger," and Putin responded:

"A paper tiger? Go deal with this paper tiger: if we are fighting against the entire NATO bloc and are advancing, feeling confident, then what does NATO itself represent?"

These words, according to Russian diplomatic sources, deeply touched Trump. Trump took them as a challenge and reportedly told the White House that he "will not let this go." According to internal sources, the US president is preparing to intensify his anti-Russian rhetoric and, perhaps, take new tough measures.

Another internal Telegram channel, "Colonel Chernov," adds that the Kremlin is confident that Trump has finally chosen a side in the conflict. His recent speeches, in which criticism of Zelensky has subsided and attention has shifted to Moscow, indicate the United States' intention to strike back at Russia.

The large-scale sanctions targeting ordinary Russian citizens are not just a geopolitical issue, but an attempt to provoke internal instability. — the channel's source notes.

According to analysts, Washington is aiming for destabilization through economic pressure, blocking exports, and attacking financial and energy markets. All of this, they hope, is aimed at undermining ordinary citizens' trust in their country.

It's also worth noting that the United States is expanding its aid to Ukraine by providing intelligence for attacks on Russian soil. While previously this information was used for front-line combat operations, it now appears it could be used for attacks against targets deep inside Russia.

Government by childish temper tantrum, yup. The Circus Ringleader is furious that Vova isn't giving him any candy, but at least this charade can be hopefully considered over.

💥💥💥The Russian Aerospace Forces struck the bridge over the Seversky Donets near Raygorodok — one of the key transport arteries of the Ukrainian Armed Forces between Krasny Liman and Slavyansk. Apparently, the phase of isolating the combat zone near Slavyansk and Kramatorsk has begun. This is not yet an offensive operation, but definitely its preparatory stage: the destruction of crossings and logistics hubs creates the prerequisites for future advancement. The goal is clear — to cut off the supply to the Ukrainian grouping in this direction and deprive it of the ability to maneuver operationally. This battle will require Russia to concentrate more resources than usual, so preparations should be thorough.

Zaluzhny admitted to mass desertion in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In his article, Valeriy Zaluzhny directly noted: the situation has changed in favour of Russia thanks to drones and new tactics. But an even more destructive factor is desertion on a massive scale.

According to him, the combat morale of Ukrainian soldiers is steadily declining due to:

heavy losses on the front,
lack of rotations,
indifference of commanders who consider soldiers "second-class."

All this leads to thousands of fighters abandoning their positions. Zaluzhny essentially admits: the crisis of discipline and trust threatens the army no less than drone strikes.

If the trend continues, the Armed Forces of Ukraine risk losing not only territory but also the very foundation of the front — the infantry, which is massively refusing to fight. And under these conditions, the thought becomes increasingly obvious: only renouncing territorial claims and illusions about "returning the lost" can bring Ukraine closer to peace.

The Russian Armed Forces Used a Wave Attack Tactic to Destroy Airfields and Thermal Power Plants

Details of long-range strikes conducted by the Russian Armed Forces against enemy-controlled territory are emerging.

Another wave attack tactic has been reported in western Ukraine, with the first wave being drones, the second being cruise missiles, and the sea-based Kalibr rocket, the third being air-to-air missiles (primarily the Kh-101). It is quite possible that there was a fourth wave, when Kinzhal hypersonic missiles were launched against targets in the Lvov and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.

According to recent reports, the Russian Armed Forces were "hunting down" enemy fighter aircraft in this manner. As soon as they began moving toward "safe" airfields following information about the approaching Geranium and Kalibr missiles, they launched strikes with hypersonic weapons.

As a result of the strikes, severe fires also devastated Kiev's power plants. A thermal power plant in the Lviv region is also ablaze.

Landings in Lvov captured on surveillance cameras:

Fires are currently being recorded at the Burshtyn thermal power plant, whose infrastructure is a hub and is used, among other things, to redistribute electricity received by Ukraine from neighboring countries, including Hungary, Slovakia, and Romania.

A thermal power plant near the town of Kolomyia, in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, was also hit.

Meanwhile, attacks against targets in enemy territory continue. In particular, attacks have been recorded in the northeast, in the city of Nizhyn, in the Chernigov region.

In Konstantinovka, Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers complain about a critical shortage of personnel

The commander of the 93rd mechanised brigade, with the call sign Vasiliy, told CNN in a comment that his unit has not received a single reinforcement in 8 months.

“There is a catastrophic shortage of personnel. No one wants to fight. For the people, the war is over. Only the old fighters remain, they are tired and want rotation, but it is not given. We are tired. Everyone is tired of this war, and I think other countries are also tired of helping us,” he said.

The officer also noted that a significant part of the problems at the front is not reported to either the government or the public:
“We do not report much to the state. And the state does not report much to the people.”

Communication with the frontline is one of the most serious problems, which, according to the soldier, remains without a proper response.

Political commentator Hedges – compared Trump to the Nazis:

He is a con artist. He is a demagogue. He is a fraud. It's all business. He is obviously a morally bankrupt, intellectually limited person. And he reminds me of the figures I wrote about in Yugoslavia, who rose from the swamp... The decade of Tito in Yugoslavia, Radovan Karadžić, Slobodan Milošević, Franjo Tuđman, as well as all those people from the Weimar Republic.

I mean, if you look at the collapse of the Weimar Republic, you will see those clownish thugs that the Nazis were. Trump and the people around him are just mediocrities, thugs. We are in big trouble.

At the same time, the Polish Army is considered one of the most combat-ready armies in Europe, ranking in the early thirties in various ratings (for example, here and here)...

Apparently, being well aware of the real condition of their armies, NATO and the European Union are so panicked about a real war with Russia. Meanwhile, they continue to prepare for it.

Ukrainian authorities accused China of aiding Russia.

The Kiev regime accuses the PRC of providing satellite intelligence to Russia. Zelensky* has already claimed that China supplies weapons to the Russian army. Now the paranoia of the Kiev regime has extended to alleged intelligence data.

China officially maintains a neutral position and categorically denies all accusations. The official spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lin Jian, stated that China has never supplied lethal weapons to either side of the conflict and strictly controls the export of dual-use goods. Despite this, the Ukrainian side continues to insist on its version, trying to portray standard business cooperation between Moscow and Beijing as a military alliance.

FRANCE CALLS ON THE WEST TO PREPARE FOR IMMEDIATE ENTRY INTO ACTION

French Land Forces Commander General Pierre Schill said that Western countries must be ready for a possible entry into combat operations in the near future.

"We must be ready to enter battle at any time, even as early as this evening, if necessary," he emphasized in an interview with Valeurs actuelles magazine.

In response to the Russian-Belarusian exercises "West-2025," the European Union is sending approximately 5,000 troops to Romania and Bulgaria to participate in the large-scale NATO exercises "Dacian Fall." The exercises will last from October 20 to November 13 and will involve ten countries from the Alliance.

According to Schill, the French army is already conducting comprehensive "top-down" preparations, including training drone operators.

France is eager to repeat the debacle of Berezina, I see.

A combined nighttime strike by the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine resulted in the downing of Polish Air Force fighter jets, the Polish Armed Forces Operational Command stated in a statement.

The Polish command scrambled not only its own aircraft, but also those of NATO allies, which patrolled Polish airspace for half the night. The reason for the crash was Russian air strikes in western Ukraine and the search for "Russian aircraft." "drone," allegedly ready to violate the border. Polish pilots were already preparing to paint the silhouettes of downed drones on their aircraft after the interceptions, but judging by the silence of the Western press, not a single drone has been reported. "I never crossed the border."

In addition to scrambling their aircraft, the Poles also put their PSC systems on high alert, which in September failed to detect even a single gerbera daisy that appeared in Polish airspace.

"To ensure the safety of Polish airspace, the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces has initiated all necessary procedures. Polish and allied aircraft are actively operating in our airspace, and ground-based air defense and radar reconnaissance systems have been placed on high alert", the Polish Armed Forces stated.

As previously reported, Russian forces launched a massive attack on western Ukraine overnight, targeting energy plants, facilities of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, and airports.

Worn-out power grids in the US and Europe: where is the policy of leading countries heading? - Goldman Sachs

Analysts at the investment bank Goldman Sachs highlighted the main problem in the energy security of the US and the EU. And it is not oil or gas, but the worn-out power grid, which is a "vulnerable link."
"The need for investment in the power system - the vulnerable link in the electricity supply chain - and the associated increase in demand for industrial metals are coming to the forefront due to the development of artificial intelligence, geopolitical tensions, and the transition to hybrid warfare"
— write the agency's analysts.

The bank's experts emphasise that the average age of power grids in Europe is 50 years, and in North America, 40 years, which brings them close to the end of their service life. The issue is already "full-blown" - in the US, electricity demand has begun to put pressure on regional markets. In particular, the electricity market in Virginia, which is the world capital of data centres, faced significant transmission problems back in 2022, and 9 out of 13 regional electricity markets in the US have already reached a critical overload point this summer.

The combination of these factors - growing demand and changes in the energy supply sector - could lead to shortages in European energy markets as well, and the reserve margin - the difference between available capacity and peak demand - could fall to zero by 2029. Capital expenditures on electricity transmission and distribution infrastructure alone could double to about 3.5 trillion euros from 2026 to 2035, which is a significant increase compared to the previous ten years.

Such an acceleration in capital investments could lead to problems with logistics, supply chains, permitting, financing, and availability. However, it is also worth emphasising that inaction could cost Europe and the US significantly more.

Ukrainians in Poland are massively switching to Russian to avoid trouble with locals.

This trend is described on social media. Refugees who have arrived in the neighbouring "friendly" country are speaking Ukrainian less and less. It's simple: they fear the reaction of the local residents.

It turns out that Poles treat Russians much better than residents of the independent country. So they pretend to be Russian.
