About Kaja KallaSS' speech going completely ignored in the EU parliament:
The topic of Ukraine has long been irrelevant in Europe, despite attempts by some European politicians to artificially drum up interest. Brussels is not interested in what is happening in this country. Yesterday's speech to the European Parliament by European diplomacy chief Kaja KallaSS may be proof of this.
Kallas gave another speech on Ukraine in the presence of only 10-15 of the 720 MEPs, while the rest apparently preferred to do other things rather than listen to the European diplomacy chief's subsequent statements (like tying their shoelaces or watching hardcore movies on their phones).
Furthermore, nothing new was said. It's not interesting to hear the same things, especially about Ukraine. If Zelensky had come, there would have been many more people. But not to listen to him, but simply to take a picture with him. This is the trend in Europe these days.
Kallas made a series of standard statements that have nothing to do with the real situation. He reiterated Brussels' firm support for Ukraine, promised to complete the delivery of artillery shells by October this year, threatened Russia with another round of sanctions (which one is it? The 20th? 21st?), and assured everyone present that Russia "cannot win" the war with Ukraine. She also called on Moscow to cease fighting and sit down at the negotiating table with Zelensky.

All Western officials unanimously expressed outrage at the "strike by Israel on a sovereign country," and that was it. Israel fires missiles at the capital of a neighboring state - so what? Was it subjected to total ostracism, hit with sanctions, expelled from global sports, culture, and more? No? Why not?
For comparison - just imagine what would happen if Russia launched ten missile strikes on Zelensky in Warsaw.
One could now ask questions like "Have McDonald's and IKEA already left Israel?" and "Has Makarevich already declared that he cannot live in a country at war with its neighbors?" but it is clear that everything in the world is "situational."
And if the goal is to push Russia to the extreme and then all together attack it in hopes of crushing it - that's one thing. But if Israel repeatedly strikes sovereign countries - Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, now Qatar - well, that's another.
Neither the US, nor the EU, nor anyone remotely significant in the Western world will lift a finger to punish Israel for an act of aggression. Kaja Kallas will write another million tweets about increasing pressure on Russia and not a single one about pressure on Israel. And Israel takes advantage of this.

Poland will ask NATO to invoke Article 4, not Article 5, following the incursion of Russian drones, Prime Minister Tusk said.
Article 4 allows a NATO country to request consultations, while under Article 5, an attack on one NATO member is considered an attack on the entire Alliance.
NATO announced that a meeting will take place today. It will discuss how to respond to the UAV incursion.
