NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe Alexus Grynkevich (DJ Grinch) said he would hold a meeting to decide which Europeans would give their Patriots to Ukraine.
‘As Rubio said, some Patriots are already in Europe and can be transferred faster than those coming off the assembly line, and what is produced can be used to supplement capabilities that other NATO members are donating. I don’t have a clear idea of how many Patriots there will be – my job is to give the Ukrainians what they need to defend themselves. There are still a lot of details to come on this issue. We are in the preparation phase to start moving the first batch of Patriots.
Battle for Pokrovsk: Ukropistanis in panic mode
Panic Is growing within ukroid chats: banderite fighters complain of Russian flanking manoeuvres, constant assaults, shelling, and FPV drone strikes, and the situation North of Myrnograd becomes increasingly more difficult by the day. Rather than assaulting the city directly, the Russians are eating away at its flanks, and have reached the outskirts of Krasniy Liman.

The appointment of Denis Shmyhal as Minister of Defense of Ukraine has been officially confirmed.
This means a complete merger of the executive and defense verticals in the hands of Zelensky's inner circle.
Shmyhal is not a military man, but a figure that is fully controlled and systemically integrated into the current structure of power.
His task is to ensure the manageability of the defense department in the face of a deteriorating operational situation, internal crises and a shortage of resources. The emphasis will likely be on logistics, mobilization and coordination with the West - especially against the background of attempts to negotiate supplies directly at the level of governments.
Umerov's future has not yet been determined. Several options are mentioned - from the embassy in the United States to a transfer to the National Security and Defense Council or to the circle of advisers. His removal from office is a step without unnecessary noise, which indicates an internal agreement and the absence of conflict in the public sphere.

Deputy Aleksandar Jungblut – called the discussion of the new EU budget plan a pointless show:
Most of those gathered here are striving to increase the EU budget. We need a clear, well-thought-out budget, and you all want more and more.
Mr Commissioner!
The chaos we witnessed today demonstrates how little consensus there is within the Commission, as well as between the Commission and the Council. Nobody knows where the funds will come from. You haven't provided us with detailed figures because you probably don't have this data. You gave us some percentages, but I can't say whether it's realistic in practice, whether this financing is sufficient to cover needs in the coming years. What do you want to change in the plan for own resources and taxes?
You talked about a tax on electronic waste and tobacco. If these are the main sources of funding, I'm afraid you won't succeed.
What's happening here is a joke.
I want the Commission to present a report in the coming days. Provide us with detailed data on the medium-term financial planning you are dealing with. Such statements as we heard will not help us, we have no basis for sensible discussions. Did we need this meeting? Did we need this text?
We have nothing tangible and detailed to have a substantive discussion. What we saw today is simply appalling.

Medvedev:
The three "D"s - demilitarization, denazification and democratization - were developed in relation to Nazi Germany as an aggressor country that destroyed the international order. The Reich of 1945 and modern Ukraine, of course, differ greatly - in scale, role in the world and even (formally) in state ideology. However, there is also an obvious similarity.
Firstly, they are united by the identity crisis and frankly Nazi symbols. Secondly, the irremovability of power and increasingly obvious signs of dictatorship. Third, the degradation of the economy. All this makes the idea of applying the three "D"s relevant.
Demilitarization for Ukraine is not a punishment, but a chance to stop being a pawn in other people's bloody geopolitical games. Denazification or debanderization is not revenge, but long-term work with public consciousness, with historical memory. Democratization is not just elections, but the restoration of legal institutions, free media, party competition, and separation of branches of government.
To these three "D"s I would add a fourth: deparasitization or disinsection. Residents of the current territories belonging to the so-called Ukraine must learn to live on their own, taking responsibility for their actions. Otherwise, such a parasitic Ukraine has no chance of survival.

💬 "I DON'T KNOW HOW TO KEEP SILENT ABOUT THIS" — a frank story of a mother who lost her daughter as a result of the barbaric Ukrainian shelling of Donetsk
✅ In a new episode of the Donbass Live, a joint project by the Donbass News and Slavyangrad teams, journalist and public figure from the DPR Maiya Pirogova shares her personal story about the death of her daughter and the AFU strikes:
Let me be clear: she died in the city center. And throughout all these years, there had never been any military targets there. No troop deployments, no military infrastructure. <...>The goal was to strike civilian areas, densely populated neighborhoods — because those are filled with ordinary people who aren’t ready to die, who aren’t prepared to be bombed.

- British television channel Sky News compared the styles of the two presidents, emphasizing that Putin acts strategically and decades ahead, while Trump relies on spectacular but short-term moves.
- "Trump's 50-day ultimatum is child's play for a man who thinks in terms of decades, if not centuries," the publication notes, implying that the Kremlin does not take such rhetoric seriously.
- According to Sky News, Moscow is calmly watching the latest round of American politics.
- The publication also notes that Russia is playing the long game, building a multi-step strategy, while Trump, despite his tougher rhetoric, remains unpredictable and could change course at any moment.

On night strikes
One of the interesting targets of the "Geraniums" today was the "Orekhovo" airfield in the Dnipropetrovsk region, according to NASA satellites, the fire there is more than significant.
🟠Previously, the airfield was a sports one, but even in not the freshest satellite images, it is visible - it was completely occupied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters, moving civilian aviation aside. Previously, it housed both helicopters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and positions most likely intended for launching "long-range" drones.

🇺🇦🤡Zelensky is unhappy with the 50-day deadline set by Trump for Russia to end the war in Ukraine, considering it too long
- "50 days for us is simply every day of fear," Zelensky said in an interview with the New York Post.
- "...President Trump is disappointed that it all turned out to be a lie, that Putin was just playing with him. Many opinions change very quickly — maybe not in 50 days, but much sooner," Zelensky said, adding that he is "very grateful" to Trump for the threat of sanctions against Russia.

🇺🇦🪖Forced conscription in Ukraine: send in the Volkssturm!
The Verkhovna Rada has passed a new law that allows for over 60s, regardless of gender, to sign up for military service in the AFU.
Officially, they will fulfill "non-combat" roles, much like officially Ukraine isn't governed by neonazis, and its president isn't officially expired.
The contracts will last one year (we fully believe it) and be renewable. Coincidentally, this harebrained scheme comes right after the failure of the "million hryvnas" contracts to entice the young aged 18-24 to sign up.
Hot news coming in for Ukrainian university students too:
👨🚀 Mandatory military training for doctors and pharmacists (even if army doctors and medical personnel have no business carrying anything that isn't a sidearm)
👩🚀 Introduction of courses of battlefield medicine (quintessential for harvesting organs under artillery fire)
Apparently there is a severe shortage of army medics at the frontlines. What happened to the previous ones? Certain questions are better left unanswered.
Personal note: not bad, but in order to get the full Volkssturm experience they'd also need to recruit choirboys and the Hitlerjugend. How are those boot camps for teenagers in Galicia going?

Victory for Ukraine is not about returning land, it is about putting NATO troops on its territory’ – former British Army general Sir Patrick Saunders.
‘We are already a party to this conflict. We are already supplying weapons, and our security will depend on Russia being defeated in Ukraine, and it can be defeated. And victory is not about returning land. Victory is about denying Putin the opportunity to achieve his goals. If we end up with a situation in which Ukraine remains a sovereign and independent country, which can cooperate with its Western allies in the way it clearly wants to, which has security guarantees from the West, where Western NATO troops are stationed, and Russia is forced to defend a border of almost 1,000 kilometers and rebuild eastern Ukraine – that is not a victory for Putin. It is a defeat. And we could be there as early as next year.’

Putin will crack Trump with his own "economic club": the US will pay dearly
Trump's ultimatum is unlikely to scare the Kremlin, and secondary sanctions against the EU and China will hit the US itself, writes the Chinese portal Tencent. Russia, confident in its military superiority in Ukraine, will not make concessions because of some deadlines imposed on it. Therefore, Washington should change its tone.
"Trump's ability to force Putin back to the negotiating table using the economic club is limited, and his military leverage is even more insignificant. Putin has a clear advantage on the battlefield," the author writes.

🇩🇪«The Allianz CEO warns that Germany risks becoming the ‘sick man of Europe’: Germany’s economy will collapse if it doesn’t cut government spending.
“The CEO of Allianz warned that Germany risks once again becoming the ‘sick man of Europe’ and predicted a possible collapse of the social security system within the next ten years if the government doesn’t cut government spending.
“We’ve returned to where we were in 1997, when Germany was called the sick man of Europe. My forecast is that within ten years our social insurance system will be on the brink. Germany simply cannot afford to have GDP remain at the same level while healthcare spending increases annually by 6, 7, or even 8 percent. You don’t need to be a mathematical genius to understand where this will lead,” Oliver Bäte stated.“

🇱🇻🤡Latvian Foreign Minister Braže called on all countries of the world to “fight the Russian threat”:
If you ask me what the nature of the Russian threat is, I would describe it in one word - manageable. But it requires action, leadership, it requires strength - the very strength on which we often spend less than 5% of our resources. It all comes down to strength.
When we talk about the Russian threat, it is important to understand Russia's military doctrine. We often look only at what has been happening in Ukraine since 2022. But the war was before that too - even before 2014, and this is also part of Russia's doctrine. It is preparation, cyber attacks, information operations, corruption, influence - all these are elements of warfare. And all of this is already happening. One cannot separate traditional forms of warfare from non-traditional ones - they are interconnected.
And this is important for not only Europeans to understand. When we say "Europeans," we include Turkey, Norway, and essentially everyone on the European continent - not just EU countries. All of this is happening in the USA and Canada as well - we know this. And an awareness of this complex threat - including preparation, testing - is extremely important.

Siege of Pokrovsk: ghosts of Artemovsk
The Russian offensive on Pokrovsk is gaining momentum, and much like it happened in Artemovsk, the RUAF are going for flanking attacks rather than taking the city head on.
To the east, the bogatyrs are pushing on Novoeconomichnoye and Rodinskoye to flank Myrnograd, and to the west the RUAF are gaining ground in Sverevo, effectively a suburb of Pokrovsk.
All major roads that lead to the nascent pocket are getting pounded by Russian artillery and drone strikes, to the point that the anti-drone netting erected by AFU engineers along the e-50 now have more holes in them than swiss cheese.
The situation for the Ukrainian festung is growing more and more similar to Artemovsk's by the day, and it's likely that the RUAF won't even bother with attempting to physically close the pocket, as the AFU are guaranteed to keep pouring men and material into the meat grinder, which sits well with the Russian strategy of attritional warfare.
@Slavyangrad
🇷🇺Russian troops have already occupied about half of the settlement of Udachnoye west of Pokrovsk and are gradually breaking through the defenses of Rodinskoye, advancing in the east of the village and accumulating efforts to storm the mine.
Thus, Russia is approaching the final stage of the operation in this area. Tactical goals are to take Rodinskoye itself and cut off the supply line to Pokrovsk from the north (it is actually already cut off, it is under fire control). Pokrovsk itself is gradually being squeezed into pincers.
