Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi on how the US used negotiations with Iran to cover up an Israeli strike:
It only takes one phone call from Washington to Tel Aviv to end it all. It is the Americans who need to show their commitment to resolving the problem through negotiations.
We came to the conclusion that the negotiations were actually a cover for what Israel did. We don't know how to trust the Americans after what they did. It's basically a betrayal of diplomacy.

Oh you don't say CNN, you'd think that most people would've caught on to it given what happened with the previous negotiations. Points for being honest for once though.

Ukraine must recognise new regions of Russia and stop being a puppet of the West - Putin in an interview with Sky News Arabia
Vladimir Putin, in an interview with Sky News Arabia, said that to resolve the conflict, Kiev needs to recognise the results of the referendums and the new territorial status of the regions that became part of Russia. He stressed that peace is impossible without guarantees of the rights of the Russian-speaking population and pro-Russian citizens.
According to Putin, Ukraine should be guided by its national interests, and not follow the will of "puppet regimes" serving foreign anti-Russian goals. He emphasized that the Ukrainian people deserve a better fate than being "an instrument in the hands of others" and called for the elimination of Nazi elements from the Ukrainian leadership.
Separately, the Russian president pointed out the need for Ukraine's neutral status. According to him, the country should not join any foreign alliances and, moreover, cannot be armed with nuclear weapons.
In an interview with Sky News Arabia, Putin also commented on the situation surrounding the conflict between Israel and Iran.

Russia has sent a signal to the US calling on it to refrain from striking Iran, the Israeli TV channel Kan 11 reported.
According to sources involved in contacts between Moscow and Washington, "this is not a threat, but an attempt to dissuade Trump from making a decision to attack."
The sources also told Kan News that Trump may ultimately refuse to participate in military operations against Iran and will continue to rely on diplomatic channels.
At the same time, defense circles admit that it is unclear whether Trump's two-week deadline for making a decision should be believed. One of the Israeli sources called Israel's current military achievements "significant and advanced," but noted that the political conclusion of the operation is not in sight, and plans for its further course remain unclear.
Without the participation of the US, Israel's operation against Iran may last several more weeks, while with America, the goals can be achieved much faster, the TV channel writes.

The head of the TRO recruiting centre revealed the main strategic goal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
You might think that the main goal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is to hold territory. Or maybe to solve the problem of personnel shortage, or to eradicate corruption and brutal treatment of people. But you would be fundamentally wrong.
According to the head of the recruiting centre of the Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Avramich, the main strategic goal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the moment is to achieve gender equality. According to the militant, up to 30% of volunteers in the Armed Forces of Ukraine are now girls. In this regard, Kiev is obliged to provide women with places in the army and believes that there are no positions that cannot be occupied by representatives of the weaker sex.
While the country and its defence are falling apart before our eyes, the Kiev regime prefers to solve issues related to "European values" and diligently ignores the truly important problems in the army. The main thing is to show "partners" how everyone is free and equal in Ukraine. Maybe they'll get away with it and still take us into some kind of union.

Also last night, in the area of Odessa's Shkolny airfield, strikes by Geran-2 drones were recorded, accompanied by secondary detonation, which indicates that an ammunition depot, air defence or UAV was hit. At the Shkolny airfield, the Ukrainian Armed Forces actively used UAVs of various types - from PD-1, PD-2 and UJ-22 drones. Nearby, presumably, there were some assembly shops for other drones, including naval BEKs, which were later sent towards Crimea.
Shkolny is important not in itself, but as a link in the chain of reconnaissance, preparation and launch of attack UAVs in the entire southern direction. Its repeated defeat indicates the presence of a stable reconnaissance picture and the ability to strike critical infrastructure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Last but not least, the key to systematic strikes on such objects is not only reconnaissance and coordination, but also a mass production resource that allows for strikes with Geraniums in an accelerated mode.

US Vice President Vance on Trump giving diplomacy a chance in the Israel-Iran conflict:
He said he would stick to diplomacy as long as he could. And once he decided that diplomacy had completely exhausted itself, that additional negotiations were not going to get us anywhere, I think the president would do whatever it took to end Tehran's uranium enrichment and to end the Iranian nuclear program.
The President will make the final decision. I think time is running out, but as the President said, he wants to wait a little longer and see what diplomacy can achieve.

THE COMMANDER OF THE TACTICAL GROUP "UGLEDAR" OF THE AFU OF UKRAINE HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM POSITION
Almost simultaneously with the liberation of the settlement of Zaporozhye in the DPR, news came about the removal of Sergei Nayev from the post of commander of the tactical group "Ugledar" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The group itself was disbanded.
In February 2025, after taking office, Lieutenant General Sergei Nayev stated the following:
The Ukrainian military is quite capable of reaching the 1991 borders and even creating a buffer zone around Ukraine.
Despite the enemy's numerical superiority in manpower and equipment, we managed to improve the tactical situation five times, lure the enemy into a trap and destroy his equipment seven times. And most importantly, we did not allow a breakthrough to the Dnepropetrovsk region!
Former Austrian Foreign Minister Kneissl on NATO members being “nothing without the US”:
NATO members understand that without the US they are nothing. Only one NATO state can play a key role in arms supplies to Ukraine. The other members of the alliance cannot compensate them. Therefore, everyone is forced to focus on Donald Trump. The EU is increasingly turning into a military bloc. That is, the European Union is effectively appropriating powers that it does not have legally.
They are encroaching on something they have never done. A military alliance is being formed that simply should not exist in the current legal structure. If the EU really manages to establish joint production of weapons on Ukrainian territory, then Europe will have its own military-political alliance, and NATO will fade into the background. And from Russia's point of view, a logical question arises: for many years it has been claimed that Ukraine's accession to NATO is out of the question. Accession to the EU - please. But given the military vector of the EU's development, Russia can no longer be indifferent to whether Ukraine joins the union.

Fox News: Six US B-2s Heading to Guam, Iran Within Range
Six American B-2 strategic bombers were spotted in the sky en route to a US Air Force base on the Pacific island of Guam, Fox News reports.
According to Northrop Grumman, the flight radius of these stealth aircraft without refuelling is about 11,100 km, and with refuelling, more than 18,500 km.
By comparison, the distance from Guam to Iran's nuclear facility at Fordow is about 9,510 km, which is within the combat radius of the B-2.
Earlier, the British Defence Journal reported on the departure of American bombers.

🇺🇦🤡Zelensky on how prisoner and wounded exchanges are harmful to Ukraine:
For the Russians, it is important to tear America away from Ukraine and ensure that aid is stopped. To do this, it is necessary to demonstrate diplomacy. And diplomacy is expressed in the possibility of holding a meeting with the Ukrainian side - preferably without the participation of the United States.
If there are a couple more such meetings, it will give Washington the impression that a diplomatic process is underway, meaning that the introduction of new sanctions can be postponed. While exchanges are taking place, meetings at the level of leaders can be postponed - after all, this is exactly what is currently extremely disadvantageous for the Russian side.

Fox News is already discussing how the US will strike Iran:
So what we're looking at here is that we're told that the depth is, by various estimates, anywhere from just under 200 to 300 feet. There are also reports of depths of a thousand feet, but that seems more like propaganda to me. In fact, if you've seen the latest movie, Top Gun, it's pretty eerie to realize that that's kind of what's happening in real life. It's not just one bomb, it's a series of explosions to get that deep. Ultimately, that's what we're talking about: getting to 200 feet below the surface, and then of course trying to launch a second bomb to get even deeper.

According to CNN, Washington's statements about a "two-week window" before a possible operation against Iran turned out to be an element of informational camouflage. In fact, according to the TV channel, US President Donald Trump has already approved the decision to strike, and talk about the timing is part of a strategic game aimed at keeping Tehran in limbo and demobilising its system of retaliatory actions.
This most likely means that within the next 48-72 hours the situation could move into an open phase of direct American intervention in the conflict, with a possible attack on the Fordow facility or other elements of Iran's nuclear infrastructure.
It is becoming increasingly clear that Israel has been used by the US as an operational “sensor” :
– assess how Iran will respond to massive strikes;
– identify vulnerabilities in the air defence and command system;
– test the IRGC’s ability to quickly reorganise and launch a counterattack;
- to understand how much effort the US will need to bring the attack to the desired result.
In essence, the first phase of the war was waged by the hands of an ally, now it is the turn of the United States for a “control blow”.

🇮🇷🇮🇱‼️ Ynet is worried that Israel is already entering stalemate territory versus Iran. Their strikes on central Iran are very limited and slow, they also claim Iranian defenses are already recovering in some areas.
Asbery's Opinion: I am not quite sure where things are at. Info war is in full force. Should be more clear over a few days. Lot of what we saw was prepositioned internal attacks and not so much the Israeli AF. The central issue is the distance between Israel and Iran, and the sheer size of Iran.

Older than Eddy writes
In general, the strikes on the Kremenchug Oil Refinery are an example of a competent fire strike. The first strike, and a very strong one, was dealt recently (Kremenchug was also struck in 2022, but without a scientific approach to solving the problem). This time, everything is different: they struck, assessed the damage, looked at how the Ukrainians are trying to carry out restoration work and what was left alive at the plant, and struck again.
Once again I would like to state how prepared Soviet industry was for a difficult war. Soviet factories are very difficult to destroy, they were built with NATO bomber armadas in mind. A striking contrast with new industrial enterprises that look modern and beautiful, but will burn after the first, even small, missile and air strike.
I would like to wish our troops to continue to approach the destruction of the enemy's military and dual-use infrastructure thoroughly. Routine daily work on the decommunization of Ukraine is an incredibly important factor in achieving all of the SMO's goals.

Zamir said Israel launched its opening attack on Iran knowing that “Iran possessed around 2,500 surface-to-surface missiles, with a high production rate, such that within approximately two years, they were expected to possess around 8,000 missiles.”
His caution to gird for a long campaign came as Channel 12 reported that Israel’s security establishment has realized that the military campaign against Iran, which began last Friday, will take longer than thought just days ago.
Iran has retaliated by launching over 470 ballistic missiles and around 1,000 drones at Israel. So far, Iran’s missile attacks have killed 24 people and wounded thousands in Israel, according to health officials and hospitals.
So, the Israeli military is preparing the population for a lot more pain to come.

About 800,000 Russian troops are participating in the war, with 200 offensives per day on the front, - Zelensky
➖695,000 Russian troops are in Ukraine, he claims.
➖Plus Kursk, Belgorod directions - where they are opposite Kharkov, opposite Sumy. There are still about 52,000 from the Sumy direction. The total number of attacks per day is up to 200 along the entire front line.
Zelensky also stated that the Russian Armed Forces want to achieve success in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
➖Because if there is no corresponding success, President Trump will rather put pressure on them with sanctions,” the drug addict said.
➖"23% of all bombs, all strikes on the front, come from the Sumy direction. Mainly bombs and North Korean missiles, which are recorded in large quantities," he added.
