According to Iran International, an Israeli airstrike killed Saeed Borji, a key figure in Iran's nuclear defence programs.
Borji, a graduate of the mechanical engineering department at Malek Ashtar University, was considered a leading expert in the development of nuclear detonation systems.
He headed the Explosive and Impact Technology Research Centre (Metfaz), part of the Defence Innovation and Research Organisation (SPND). The centre is credited with playing a pivotal role in the development of multi-point initiation and bridge wire fuze technologies, which are integral to implosion-type nuclear devices.
Borja's involvement in Iran's nuclear program dates back to the 1980s, during the Iran-Iraq War, and he later became a key figure in the secret AMAD project, an alleged nuclear weapons effort that Iran says was halted in 2003, with SPND taking over most of the project's activities.

Zelensky confirmed the transfer of one MIM-104 Patriot PAC-2 air defence system from Israel to Ukraine.
Complex is currently undergoing repairs in the USA and has not yet been delivered to Ukraine.
According to Zelensky, an agreement with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on air defence systems existed even before the militant attack on October 7, 2023. At that time, the discussion was not about Patriot, but about the Barak 8 systems developed by Israel and India.
However, due to the militant attack, Ukraine never received this air defence system. Later, discussions switched to the Patriot, which Israel removed from service as obsolete.
"We received information that we could count on some old Patriot models. There were some systems in Israel that could work if they were restored a little. But in the end, one system was transferred from Israel to the United States for restoration. We have not yet seen this system on Ukrainian territory."

Israel has no ability or capacity to win this war. The whole conversation is about how it can provoke, what it can use in response to Iranian attacks. It can directly involve the US. Iran is playing smart. And here we are talking about self-preservation and an adequate response to Israel's illegal provocations.

It's obvious that the current tempo of the campaign Israel can't sustain for long.
Raising 200 planes in the air is an amazing achievement of planning, coordination and expertise on one side, but a tremendous eater of resources on the other. Flying hardware, fuel, precision ammunition, parts, and manpower are being spent on an unprecedented scale.
It's also obvious that logistics is provided by West, since feeding the Israeli war machine, regardless of their own stockpiles and resources, couldn't be done for long. The question that needs answering now is how much more West will give, or better yet, how much more it has. AA missiles are spent in huge quantities every day, with each costing a small fortune. Ukraine ate up a solid amount of those already, so the warehouse quantities are critical.
Iran stockpiled its missiles for decades. Even taking into consideration that some quantities are destroyed in Israel's strikes, Iran possesses a significant amount.
Maybe that is the reason why a carrier group is going to the Middle East. If Israel doesn't achieve victory soon, there will simply be nothing to achieve it with. Then, remains only to use nuclear weapons or West to openly join them against Iran. However, the question of empty warehouses still remains.

Haaretz: Israeli government orders airlines not to take Israelis on board even when rescue flights take off.
The Israeli government has ordered Israeli Airlines not to allow Israelis to leave Israel on planes designated for rescue flights for Israelis abroad. The reason for this is "the desire of the security authorities to prevent crowds at Ben Gurion Airport, and to reduce the risk of mass casualties among passengers waiting for a flight abroad."

Iran Detains Two Mossad Agents With 200kg of Explosives, Drone Equipment
Two Israeli intelligence agents have been arrested in Iran, ISNA reported, citing police sources. More than 200 kilograms of explosives, as well as equipment for 23 drones, launchers and controllers, were seized from the detainees.
Earlier it was reported that Mossad agents had prepared the ground for an airstrike on Iran in advance by introducing hundreds of drones with explosives into the country.
