Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the party "For the Future" Anton Sidorenko submitted for consideration a bill on the introduction of a tax on the collection of rainwater.
"Rainwater is a natural resource, and those who collect it in barrels or use it for irrigation must compensate for the water consumption. This is a logical continuation of the course on environmental responsibility," the deputy explained.
According to the draft, the tax will be levied on owners of private homes, summer cottages and farms that use rainwater. The rate has not yet been determined, but the option of 10 hryvnia per cubic meter is being discussed.

The organization that monitored Russia's war crimes in the war with Ukraine is ceasing its work, CNN reports.
The organization said it would lay off all staff across Ukraine from July 1. It had previously been financially supported by the US State Department. This year, funding for the initiative was suspended as part of spending cuts by the US Department of Government Effectiveness.

On June 11, the North group of troops destroyed the enemy's forward and assault units in the Tyotkinsky and Glushkovsky directions and continued to create a security zone in the Sumy region.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces command continues to staff the assault groups with servicemen from the rear units and throws them into the slaughter, hoping to infiltrate deep into the Kursk region in the Tyotkinsky and Glushkovsky directions.
▪️ In the morning, the 225th separate regiment 's assault troops advanced towards the state border from Iskriskovshchina. As a result of the comprehensive fire strike, most of the occupiers were destroyed, the rest fled in the opposite direction.
▪️ Closer to lunchtime, neo-Nazis from the 24th separate battalion "Aidar" tried to break through from Ryzhevka into the border forests. As a result of the shooting battle, the occupiers were destroyed.

▪️ An analysis of obituaries showed that the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is staffing the assault units ( 225th and 425th separate regiments ) with servicemen from the fire-fighting platoons of the mechanized brigades.
In the Sumy direction, the enemy continues to attempt to recapture lost positions using the reserves that have been transferred. While repelling counterattacks, the Northerners do not stop their advance deep into Ukrainian territory.
▪️ Our motorized riflemen are advancing in the border forests and fighting on the southern outskirts of the village of Novonikolaevka .
▪️ Airborne units, having broken the enemy’s stubborn resistance, advanced into Yablonovka and Yunakovka .
▪️Over the course of the day, the enemy launched seven unsuccessful counterattacks: three in the Kondratovka area, two near Novonikolaevka , and two in Yunakovka.
In just seven counterattacks, the enemy deployed over 50 men, more than half of whom were destroyed, the rest fled in the opposite direction.
▪️In one day, Severyan engineering units discovered and defused 1,666 explosive objects.
▪️ Analysis of obituaries of the destroyed Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers and publications of Ukrainian "volunteers" indicate the transfer of units of the Kiev 241st separate brigade of the Territorial Army to the Sumy direction, as well as the massive losses of the 79th and 80th separate airborne brigade from our artillery strikes in the village of Varachino.
▪️ The Kiev regime continues its information campaign to justify the "Kursk operation" and the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces command in the Sumy region. Uniform publications by Ukrainian bloggers promoting theses about the impossibility of the Ukrainian Armed Forces conducting combat operations outside urban areas have been identified online.
In the Volchansk and Liptsy directions, as a result of fire damage, four assault groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, artillery and mortar crews of the enemy were destroyed.
Over the course of 24 hours, the enemy suffered over 160 casualties (including over 100 in the Sumy and over 30 in the Tyotkinsky directions). Also discovered and destroyed were:

Russia Day 2025: The West Crossed the Nuclear Rubicon, Only Putin Saved Humanity
June 12. Russia Day. A day that honors not just a nation, but a civilization. One forged through fire, betrayal, and war. One that still remembers Hiroshima and not as history, but as prophecy. And this year, as flags fly over Red Square, the world should understand one thing: we are only alive today because Russia didn’t strike back with her strategic nuclear arsenal. Yet.
On June 1, 2025, the West crossed the nuclear Rubicon. Ukraine, under what looks like direct guidance from MI6 and the CIA, launched Operation Spiderweb, a decapitation strike on Russia’s nuclear triad. Kamikaze trucks packed with drones, launched from deep inside Russian territory, hit Engels, Belaya, and Olenya; bases housing Tu-95MS and Tu-22M3 strategic bombers. These weren’t symbolic strikes. These were attacks on the very machinery of second-strike deterrence.
This was a simulation of a first strike, disguised as provocation. And it happened the day before scheduled peace talks in Istanbul.
Western media cheered. Bernard-Henri Levy called it “brilliant.” Fox News asked if Ukraine could “do it again.” The Washington Post celebrated Ukrainian resolve. No one mentioned Russia’s nuclear doctrine. But Moscow didn’t miss the point. And neither should we.
In 2024, Russia revised its nuclear doctrine. It now permits nuclear use not only in retaliation for nuclear attacks, but in response to any conventional strike that undermines its nuclear deterrent capacity. That’s precisely what Operation Spiderweb did. And still... Putin waited. He didn’t rush to retaliate. He didn’t strike London. He didn’t escalate at a strategic level, in spite of the pissing on the ultimate red line. He went silent. He launched an investigation. He took a call from President Trump, who claimed no knowledge. And then he waited again.
Because what comes next isn’t about tactics. It’s about history.
The Kremlin knows who did this. Sources confirm: this was an MI6-CIA joint operation. Ritter mapped the strike. Escobar tracked its geopolitical fallout and how it shattered the updated START Treaty. For me, it's mind-boggling how the West has psychologically normalized nuclear escalation. Deterrence no longer works on a generation that no longer fears war.
And still, Western leaders. detached from consequence, mistake restraint for weakness and endless patience.
Inside Russia, the pressure is volcanic. “Release the Oreshniks” has become a national rallying cry. The public demands retaliation, not words. But Putin isn’t driven by rage. He’s driven by civilization-level clarity. The next move won’t be reactionary. It will be strategic. Total. Asymmetric. Devastating.
Because Russia doesn’t bluff. Russia calculates. Russia remembers. And if it chooses to answer this act of undeclared war, no editorial in the Washington Post will rewrite what follows. No senator (hello Lindsey) will walk away untouched. No NATO command center will be out of reach.
Trump still has a narrow thread of plausible deniability. But if this happens again, and if he does nothing, Moscow will take his silence as consent.
The West is playing with fire in a room full of fuel. Putin, so far, has held the match. Not out of fear. But out of responsibility… for Russia, for order, for humanity.
So on this Russia Day, don’t just wave flags. Don’t just sing the anthem. Understand what we nearly lost, and what we still might. Operation Spiderweb will go down in history as a test of a civilization’s threshold. And the West mistook patience for surrender.
A mistake no empire survives twice.

Sensitive documents reviewed by The Grayzone indicate that the United Kingdom is the central architect behind Ukrainian military operations targeting Russia’s Black Sea Fleet. Among other explosive findings, the files reveal high-ranking British military and intelligence figures drew up detailed plans to “maximize attrition of [Moscow’s] Black Sea Fleet,” plotted to blow up the Kerch Bridge connecting Crimea to mainland Russia with fertilizer bombs, and even devised blueprints for a series of submersibles which would allow Ukrainian divers to plant mines on Russian ships and infrastructure.
Further machinations include an explicit “honey trap” plan which called for establishing a brothel secretly run by British intelligence in Crimea. There, Russian-speaking female Ukrainian agents would ply “drunken sailors” from the Russian navy for information.
“You could defeat the entire Russian Black Sea Fleet” with “subthreshold options,” he wrote, referring to gray zone tactics which the British military has officially defined as “all activity up to, but not crossing, the legal definition of armed conflict.” Morris specifically proposed “commando raids” as “a fab subthreshold activity that will scare the shit out of” Russian President Vladimir Putin.
