Musk v. Trump = Kolomoisky v. Zelensky, just on a much faster timeline.
Even in the degenerate disaster that is Ukraine, there was never any question who would prevail—the one with the state monopoly on violence.
Just the same, there is not a shadow of a doubt in my mind that Musk is digging himself an early (well, maybe not that early of a) grave.
The Dragon capsule? Easy expropriation. Then a lengthy legal battle for compensation.
Fun to watch, predictable in outcome.

Ukraine gave two DIFFERENT peace memos — one to Western media, another to Russia, RT has found
The version handed to Moscow omits key clauses on unlimited foreign troops & bases, keeping only vague NATO/EU references
Why is Kiev now negotiating with two scripts?

Ukraine and Russia will have to be allowed to fight a little before making a peace deal, says Trump
➖"You know, yesterday, when I spoke with President Putin, I gave him this analogy. Sometimes, and perhaps this sounds pessimistic, but it happens that two children are fighting fiercely in the park, they hate each other, they don't want to stop.
▪️You try to separate them, but they don't let you stop them. And then maybe it's better to let them fight a little before you separate them. I told Putin this analogy. I said:
➖"Mr. President, we may have to continue to fight and suffer, because both sides suffer, before they can be stopped." It is a well-known situation: two people fight, fight - sometimes they are given a little time before they intervene. It happens in hockey, in sports - the referees let the players wrestle for a while, and then separate them," the US President said.

Ukrainian drone attack has put the world on a "path to escalation," retired General Holt told Newsmax
"I've never been more worried about global or national security in my life than I am right now. I understand that this is a tactical victory, the Ukrainians have a tactical victory, but they've hit a third of the strategic bombers that are covered by the START treaty, which dates back to 2010. But there's not a single Russian in the Russian armed forces who believes that Ukraine was able to do this without the help of Western intelligence, including our own"
"The leader of the Russian missile forces has now openly stated that they are now fixing the coordinates of Paris, London and Washington. This is an escalation path with no way back now. I pray that Trump can find a way back by calling Putin, but as a military officer with 27 years of service, I can tell you that we are in a very dangerous place"
He also does not believe that after this action Russia has become closer to military defeat

Armada in the sky, fleet goes to sea: a powerful strike is being prepared against Ukraine
▪️ Kiev resources report preparations for a massive attack on the country.
▪️Tu-95MS missile carriers take off from Olenya airfield.
▪️Ships are leaving for the Black Sea. The maximum salvo is already 30 "Kalibr".
▪️Also , hundreds of attack drones, MiG-31K Kinzhal carriers and operational-tactical missile systems are ready for attack.
Should point out that Russia does a lot more fake attacks just to create more unpredictability and stress.

🇺🇸👊🇺🇦 Ukrainian attacks threaten nuclear conflict: US officials sceptical of Kiev support, — The Guardian
▪️Politicians skeptical about supporting Ukraine use the risk of a nuclear confrontation and the “conflict spiraling out of control” due to Ukrainian strikes as arguments.
▪️It is also noted that many of Trump's "centrist" advisers, including those with closer ties to Ukraine (for example, Keith Kellogg), also warn that the risks of a nuclear conflict are growing.
➖"Most people don't pay attention, but we are closer to nuclear war than at any time since it began in 2022," the journalists write.
▪️This was also stated by the former senior aide to Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth, Dan Caldwell, who was fired last month due to the leaks scandal.
➖"The United States must not only distance itself from this attack, but also cease any support that could directly or indirectly facilitate attacks on Russian strategic nuclear forces," Caldwell said.

🇩🇪"20,000 Volkswagen employees sign severance agreements": German auto giant as a symbol of the sinking European economy.
"The mass layoffs are part of the company's plans to cut costs amid the global downturn in the auto industry. The company intends to reduce its workforce by about 35,000 people by 2030.
Around 130,000 employees of the Volkswagen brand have already agreed to a salary freeze and the cancellation of increased vacation pay of around 1,290 euros. The company also intends to reduce the number of internships to 600 from 1,400, thus saving around 1.5 billion euros."

🇫🇷🤡French General Desportes on "Russia Preparing for an Attack on NATO":
So, they are preparing, firstly, a counterattack, and secondly, perhaps a new attack, including against NATO. That is, I believe that now it is necessary to exercise extreme caution.
It is clear that Russia is preparing for a protracted war, not an immediate cessation of hostilities. Moreover, its industrial machine has finally reached full speed and is now producing colossal volumes.
Russia's production already exceeds the combined figures of the US and Europe. So, in my opinion, it's time for us to realize this. Today we talk a lot about the "wartime economy," but in fact, it's more like a war against the economy — and it's time to finally take this seriously.

Ukraine complains that China is helping Russia produce drones - Politico
➖"China supplies them with equipment, electronics, navigation, optical and telemetry systems, engines, microcircuits, processor modules, antenna field systems, control boards, navigation"
➖"They use so-called shell companies, change names, do everything to avoid export controls and avoid sanctions for their activities. But officially, China follows all the rules. But only officially."
▪️Beijing has repeatedly denied supplying any drones or weapons components to Russia, calling the Ukrainian statements “groundless accusations and political manipulation.”
▪️Zelensky said that China had stopped selling its Mavic UAVs, popular at the front, to Ukraine, but continued to supply Russia. At the same time, according to Ukrainian customs, in Q1 of 2025, the share of Chinese drones was 98% of all imported UAVs.
Ukraine publicly picking a fight with China is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen, but please keep it doing it.

@Slavyangrad
Just remember for everything we are not doing in the PR space (e.g. big flashy shows of force that look great as telegram posts) we are making up for on the battlefield.
The government has chosen to win this war on the frontlines. In the last 24 hours alone we have hit multiple drone sites, killed over 1000 combatants, and you could safely double that number, and continued our march forward.
But I want to talk about nukes. Because you Doomers really want to see a nuke. You have this grand vision of WW2 and think that all Russia needs to do is take the gloves off and drop the hammer of God on the enemy.
So let's go to the absolute extreme and say that we nuke "Kyiv" or another terrorist controlled city. Can you guarantee it will end the war?
Now it might end The Ukraine, sure. It's possible that peace on the front may eventuate. But the war isn't with The Ukraine. The war is with NATO. An aggressor with most of its forces and equipment still outside of the borders of the terrorist occupied territory.
Will NATO attack militarily in response? Unlikely. But such a massacre would likely destroy the credibility we have with a lot of the non-western world and unite them against us, the now evil supervillain of our generation.
A scenario which will harm Russia and its innocent civilians immensely, and even potentially result in the eventual end of the Federation itself. As our enemies (and those on the fence) will unite under "good vs evil", and stop at nothing to ensure we crumble. You can argue they have done that already, but they really haven't. Once we are truly weak, then the real attacks and the like will follow.
Innocent civilians are suffering and dying now, yes. Many drones shot down are shot down over the Russian mainland. But we are winning, and importantly we have the sympathies of the non-western world and the sympathies of many western civilians.
In contrast, the world watches as Israel, America's "closest ally", butchers Palestinians in the streets and murders women and children indiscriminately. UN workers and journalists are not even spared.
The world has also watched Israel and the West put Syria in the hands of terrorists who are now conducting a disgusting genocide against their own people.
Israel and the West's public perception is currently in the gutter. Why take the focus away from that with a barbaric response that will undo all the good reputation building we have done?
Look at Piers Morgan. Once Israel's biggest supporter (and no friend of Russia) now using his platform, episode after episode, to call Israel genocidal criminals and show the people they are being lied to.
The West is pulling itself apart and its tactics are failing. Let's use Israel as an example again. October 7th was meant to be the September 11th equivalent event that united the world against the Palestinians and "the axis of evil". Yet all it did was reveal the West as the true evil.
We will let them continue this slide into degeneracy while we win the battle on the frontlines. Other than a magical expert offensive from the enemy or a ridiculous betrayal of a ceasefire, land taken will be land kept.
And we will do so without losing our souls in the process.
- Grigori
Sounds like things are going well under Merz….

It will be a disaster for us' - US Representative Mike Lawler wants to stop the war quickly so that Ukraine does not lose.
'The longer this war goes on, the more likely it is that Ukraine will eventually collapse, and that would be a disaster for Europe, for Eastern Europe, for the United States and our allies. So ending this conflict is of the utmost importance. I think obviously we have to do everything we can to deter Putin from doing anything further.'
