No one will reveal what was at the negotiations. Their demands are unacceptable - press secretary of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Tykhyi.
▪️During the negotiations, Russia demanded that Crimea be recognized as Russian, Suspilnoye reports.
I think Russian demands are more realistic than Ukrainian demands.

Albanian Clowns Macron, Starmer, Merz and Zelensky Send Signals to Trump [that they are retarded]
Macron: 'President Putin once again refuses to respond to the proposal for an unconditional ceasefire put forward by the Americans'
Starmer: 'If Russia is unwilling to sit down at the negotiating table, Putin will pay a price for it'
Merz: 'We will not give up'
Zelensky: 'If the Russians reject a complete and unconditional ceasefire, tough sanctions must follow'
Starmer doesn’t realize that Russia is at the negotiating table. There is no ceasefire table moron.
@Slavyangrad
European leaders unhappy with Russia-Ukraine talks
▪️British Prime Minister Starmer said that Russia's position in the negotiations is "unacceptable" and he accuses Moscow of delaying the ceasefire.
▪️French President Macron said that Russia ignored the demands of the US, Ukraine and Europe for a ceasefire.
▪️Polish Prime Minister Tusk said that the Kremlin refused to conduct dialogue with the participation of the United States and put forward unacceptable conditions.
▪️Italian Prime Minister Meloni called for a ceasefire and security guarantees for Ukraine.
▪️German Chancellor Merz accused Moscow of disrupting the talks, but noted that the talks had produced "a very small, but first positive signal."
▪️It is worth noting that the statements of the Russian and Ukrainian delegations following the negotiations were constructive, and the parties did not voice any mutual accusations.
Do these guys know what their hand is? Not sure what intelligence these guys are getting because their position is only getting worse every month.

🇷🇺Medinsky on the fact that Europe has historically benefited from disrupting negotiations with Russia:
The Northern War with Sweden lasted 21 years. 21 years. But a few years after it began, Peter the Great offered the Swedes peace. He said, in fact, nothing is needed there, we have access to the Baltic Sea - St. Petersburg, and a little bit around, yes, these security zones, and that's it. Historically, these are Russian lands, because the entire Leningrad region, most of Karelia - these are all lands that were once under the jurisdiction of the Novgorod Republic.
And they were torn off piece by piece by Sweden. At the time of Ivan the Terrible. Piece by piece. We know that these are all our ancestral lands, but we don't even ask for them. You give us a little, give us freedom and access to the sea. Russia has no access to the sea, it cannot live without it. Give us St. Petersburg and its surroundings, and the war will be over.
What do the Swedes say? No, we'll fight to the last Swede. So Charles XII continues his mad war despite repeated peace offers from Peter. But the funny thing is that Charles XII was supported by England and France. They've been funding Sweden endlessly.
Eventually we agree on peace talks. The peace talks between Russia and Sweden last a long time. England and France stand up to us. No negotiations, stop it. Let's go through mediators, through us. Because it is profitable for them when two major powers fight.
@Slavyangrad
Even the British media don't believe Starmer's promises to punish Russia
Sir Starmer, what can you realistically do about Russia given the events of last night?
I think what we saw yesterday and last night is further evidence that Putin is not serious about peace. He is stalling. Today we will work on this again to make it clear: if there is no ceasefire, we will act together on the issue of sanctions. For me, this is clear evidence that Putin is not serious about peace. President Zelensky will be here today, and we will discuss the situation with him.

"We don't want war, but we are ready to fight for a year, two, three - as long as it takes. We fought with Sweden for 21 years (the Great Northern War 1700-1721). And how long are you ready to fight?"
The exchange of 1,000 for 1,000 prisoners , which Umerov announced, is undoubtedly good news.
According to some sources , this is the majority of all Russian prisoners of war held in Ukraine, and only about 15-20% of Ukrainian prisoners in Russia.
Thus, the majority of Russian troops will finally return home, while the majority of Ukrainian prisoners will still remain in custody.
It would potentially be the largest prisoner exchange since the start of the conflict.

Ukraine will try to cherry pick soldiers again I bet.

AFP also reporting:

'The Russian delegation demanded that Ukraine completely withdraw from the four regions. To which it received a refusal from the Ukrainian delegation. In response, the Russians stood up and said that next time there would be 5 regions'
"This is unreal!" - Russia demands that Ukraine withdraw its troops from Russian territory to cease fire
▪️This was reported by the media, citing Ukrainian diplomats.
▪️It is also reported that Russian requirements include other “non-standard” points.
➖"Russian demands in the negotiations are unrealistic and go far beyond what was previously discussed," Ukraine complains.
When people go public it means they are trying to sink the talks on purpose.

🇩🇪Rearmament: Germany is at it again!
Boris Pisstorius, Germany's defense minister, is planning to introduce new legislation for the drafting of German citizens into the military.
Boris Pistorius said the proposed bill would allow the government to send letters to all young men who turn 18 — about 400,000 every year — asking about their willingness and ability to serve in the military. Under this bill, those who receive the letter would have to fill out the questions. The army would then invite those interested in serving for a medical checkup and choose the most qualified to serve in the military for a period of 6-23 months.
Speaking to reporters in Berlin, Pistorius explained that the threat levels have changed from what they were a few years ago.
“Russia has now been waging a war against Ukraine for two and a half years — it is not only calling the rules-based international order into question, it is destroying it,” he said. “This is a new threat situation.”
Pisstorius intends to bring the number of active personnel to above the 200.000 mark, following a constant process of degradation of the Bundeswehr's combat capabilities. "
Germany expanding its armed forces and ramping up rearmament? Hmmmm, never in the past has this lead to bad outcomes.
@Slavyangrad
This could have all ended 3 years ago: a statement by the head of the Russian delegation, where he recalled the agreements in Gomel back in late February 2022.
➖"How could all this have ended if Ukraine had agreed to peace at the end of February? They did not agree, they dragged their feet, and after that the next stage of agreements was already in Istanbul. It was somewhat tougher in relation to the realities on the ground than what was proposed in Gomel. But, unfortunately, the Istanbul process was also disrupted due to direct interference from the West," Medinsky said.
▪️Today, the head of Zelensky’s office, Yermak, stated that Kiev will not return to the Istanbul project.
Ukrainians think they are in better spot today than in March of 2022? 🤡 town.
@Slavyangrad
A thousand (1,000) results (the 1000 to 1000 POW exchange) appear to have been achieved because of Putin’s initiative to restart the peace talks with Ukraine.
The fates of these 1,000 men and women, who will come home, were worth all the Telegram squalor that followed.
Once again, trust @Slavyangrad. Peace will come—it always does. Ceasefires do not bring peace. And Russia is well aware of it, as you likely can tell, by now.

Trump says he may call Putin to discuss Ukraine settlement — CNN
▪️"We need to meet. We will meet with him. I think we will resolve it, and maybe not, but at least we will know. And if we don't resolve it, it will be very interesting," the US president told the media as he flew out of Abu Dhabi.
▪️Earlier, Peskov stated that Putin could have an international telephone conversation today.

A new slap in the face for Zelensky:
Even Biden's former national security adviser Sullivan said that continuing the NSC does not hinder the negotiations
Do you think they [the Trump administration] should have insisted on a ceasefire before these negotiations began?
I don't think that a ceasefire needs to be established before diplomacy begins.

'We must be prepared to make sacrifices' - former UK defence secretary Wallace calls for continuing war with Russia without US
(The victims are Ukrainians)
'Europe and Ukraine need to start preparing to act on their own. No one should buy into the idea that without the US, the Ukrainians are finished. They are not. They know how to fight. They know how to innovate. And the 'vital' intelligence they get on the battlefield is not all American. It is not. So if we in Europe decide to replace Uncle Sam, we can do it: if we really want to, and if we are prepared to make sacrifices.'
At this time, a meeting of the leaders of the "coalition of the willing" countries is taking place in Tirana, Albania.

Russia and Ukraine will present their vision of a possible future ceasefire in detail, after which negotiations will continue - head of the Russian delegation Medinsky
▪️Direct negotiations with the Ukrainian side have just ended, we are satisfied with the result, we are ready to continue contact.
▪️We have taken note of the request for a meeting between the leaders of the Russian Federation and Ukraine.
▪️Russia and Ukraine will soon conduct a prisoner exchange according to the formula 1000 for 1000.

💬 "We experienced these "ceasefires" ourselves - when everything exploded, people flew in and died"
Residents of Gorlovka in the DPR do not believe Zelensky and his proposal to cease fire for 30 days. Since 2014, they have heard about a ceasefire many times, but each time the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit civilians.

Zelensky cannot accept that the only way to bring the war in Ukraine closer is through a conversation between Putin and Trump, and not with him.
'You all know that this week we had a real chance to take important steps to end this war. If only Putin had not been afraid to come to Turkey. I was ready for a direct meeting with Putin - be it in Ankara or Istanbul. And not just for the sake of a meeting, but to resolve all the key, important issues, as I see it. But he did not agree to anything. And you see for yourself: the Russian delegation that arrived in Istanbul is of a very low level. None of them are people who actually make decisions in Russia. And if the Russian representatives in Istanbul today cannot even agree to a ceasefire, then it will become one hundred percent clear that Putin continues to undermine diplomacy. If this is not the case, there must be at least some result today, starting with a ceasefire.'
Russia and Ukraine negotiations completed, delegations dispersed, statements for the media are being prepared, - sources
▪️During the negotiations, the Russians threatened to seize the Sumy region to create a safe zone, said Rada deputy Goncharenko.
▪️The meeting between the delegations of Ukraine and Russia ended immediately after Moscow demanded the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the territories of the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, Sky News claims.
▪️Russia wants a complete exit from 4 regions, and if we refuse, there will be a 5th (Dnepropetrovsk), writes Axios.
▪️Before this, it was reported that the delegations of Russia and Ukraine had not yet decided whether the negotiating round in Istanbul would continue.

Yermak says Ukraine refuses to hold peace talks based on 'Istanbul agreements'
'The Russians want to build associations with 2022. But all that connects the negotiations with this is exclusively the city of Istanbul. And nothing else. All attempts by the Russians to tie today to 2022 will not work.'
🇪🇪About Estonia and the attempt to detain a tanker in the Baltic Sea.
A small but very angry country with a geopolitical inferiority complex, which for years has been posing as a "frontier of democracy", is practically nothing from a military point of view. By acting in the Baltic Sea in a nasty, mean, but still unsuccessful manner, Tallinn seems to be moving in leaps and bounds towards the fact that instead of flying over the sea, the Su-35 will one day use its onboard weapons. Attempts to interfere with the naval blockade, to wag the tongue about "disarming Kaliningrad" - all this is not politics. This is the rage syndrome of small countries that have come to believe that someone will save them. But what is the reality?
If you read slowly and thoughtfully the text of NATO's Article 5 on collective defense, you can find something beautiful.
In the event of such an armed attack taking place, each of them, in exercise of the right of individual or collective self-defence recognized by Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations, will assist the Contracting Party or Parties so attacked by immediately taking such individual or joint action as it deems necessary, including the use of armed force, to restore and maintain the security of the North Atlantic area.
