🇮🇳🇺🇸India has decided to give a tough response to Trump
The US media is very surprised: India suddenly decided to respond sharply to Trump's tariffs.
After all, some time has passed since March 12, when Washington introduced a 25% tariff on all steel and aluminum imported into the country. This directly affected New Delhi, but the US was almost certain that there would be no harsh response. Especially since recently India has officially expressed positive opinions about American policy.
And now, the WTO has received a letter. India says in it: Trump's additional duties affected Indian exports of steel and aluminum to the United States worth $7.6 billion , and Washington plans to collect $1.91 billion for the budget through new tariffs. Now New Delhi is introducing higher duties on various American goods to fill its treasury with the same amount.
It is important to note that in India, Trump's decision was perceived as "new", although the 25% tariff on steel and 10% on aluminum was introduced by Donald back in March 2018, during his first presidential term.
In March of this year, Trump merely extended the 25% tariff on steel and raised the rate from 10% to 25% on aluminum. And yes, all goods from India are subject to an additional 10% tariff for a 90-day period, after which the tariff will skyrocket to 26%.
All these years, both under the “first” and “second” Trump, and under Biden, India has refused to take tough retaliatory steps. Moreover, earlier this year, even before Trump’s March decision, India tried to accommodate the US by softening tariff barriers for about 8.5 thousand American goods.
And then New Delhi makes a counter-move literally on the eve of a government delegation from that country landing in the US on May 16 to discuss the possibility of a “trade deal.” They are taking tough countermeasures, even risking that the US may ultimately abandon its plans to transfer some production from China to their country.
But apparently, New Delhi has begun to understand that Washington perceives the display of “flexibility” and the desire to “appease” Trump as weakness .
Let's see how the negotiations between one of the key BRICS+ countries and the US go and what they lead to. India does not have such a large surplus with the US that it would not be possible to reduce the export of Indian goods by redirecting them to other BRICS+ countries.

🇪🇺🇷🇺The EU may impose sanctions against individual banks and restrict uranium supplies from Russia, writes Bild.
Today, American nuclear reactors (of which there are about a hundred) consume 25 thousand tons of uranium fuel annually. This is about a quarter of all uranium mined and enriched on the planet. And it must be said that, for example, as of 2020, 23% of all uranium at American nuclear power plants was Russian. And if you add uranium from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, then this is already a good half of the nuclear fuel for the United States. And, for example, it is also worth noting that part of the uranium mined in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan is transported to Russia for enrichment.
In general, Rosatom produces only less than three thousand tons of uranium per year (6% of world production), but in terms of its enrichment it is the world leader: the state corporation accounts for 36% of the world market for finished nuclear fuel produced on the planet. Russian enterprises produce as much of it as the USA, Great Britain, France, Germany and the Netherlands combined. JSC TVEL supplies it to 78 reactors in 15 countries. Almost all nuclear power in Eastern Europe operates on Russian fuel assemblies. For example, Slovakia and Hungary receive approximately half of their electricity from peaceful nuclear energy, and in 2016 this half was 100% provided by Rosatom supplies. At the same time, Russia successfully produces and sells to the USA and Europe not only "Soviet" hexagonal fuel assemblies, but also tetrahedral ones, which are used in reactors in the West.
The European Union buys about 40% of its enriched uranium from Russia and Kazakhstan. And everything in this energy sector is so intertwined that, for example, the German plant Urenco supplies ready-made nuclear fuel to many American nuclear power plants
Essentially, these idiots want to cut off their own energy.
Well, good luck!

🇰🇵The introduction of combat experience went to the troops - after the participation of the DPRK military in battles with the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Kim Jong-un conducted exercises of special forces units and tank crews to "meet the criteria of a universal battalion":
"As Comrade Kim Jong Un pointed out, there are many things that our revolutionary armed forces have undertaken at present. Among them, the most important front is the anti-imperialist class front, and the most urgent task is completing preparations for war. Combat training to transform the army at all levels into select units that carry out any order consistently and flawlessly is the primary revolutionary task."

Zelensky wants to defeat Putin in negotiations. He said this in an interview with Liberation.
'If I meet Putin, we must come out with a political victory - a ceasefire, an exchange of all prisoners for all prisoners, or something like that. No one knows how long the war will last. But not 10 years. Ukraine will not endure... This is expensive for everyone, not only for friends, but also for enemies.'
Just recently I said that a war with Russia by the hands of Ukrainians is cheap. Has it become more expensive?
All prisoners for all prisoners? So 10,000 Ukrainians for 500 Russians. Insane demands by Ukraine.

🇫🇷🇷🇺🇺🇦Ukrainians clearly understand that they cannot return the lost territories - Macron
- The French president said the fighting must end and Kiev must be "in the best position to return to negotiations" that "will allow territorial issues to be resolved."
- Macron did not rule out that the EU, together with the US, could introduce new sanctions against Russia in the coming days; they could affect financial services and hydrocarbons.
- "Our security is at stake in Ukraine. We want a ceasefire on land, at sea and in the air for 30 days," Macron said.

The Istanbul Affair
Witcoff and Kellog sitting in a tree,
Expecting high society:
First—Zelensky, then comes Trump—
Merz and Starmer blowing his stump—
Then Macron in negligee,
Nostrils gaping, nose agee,
Abramovich saunters in
From the nearest refuse bin,
Right behind, a sultan waltzes
In with lubricating schmaltzes…
As they pull the ass-wise zipper
Of their designated stripper,
Volodymyr, through the haze
Of a coca-fueled blaze,
Realizes, all too late,
His unenviable fate.

Following the successful use of the S-400 air defence missile system during Operation Sindoor, India has formally approached Russia for more of the system, senior defence sources told India Today TV.
The S-400 air defense systems operated by the Indian military played a critical role in intercepting and neutralizing missiles and drones launched by Pakistan during the recent conflict. According to Indian officials familiar with the operation, the S-400s demonstrated high accuracy and effectiveness in countering aerial threats from the western border.
Encouraged by this result, India has requested additional S-400 supplies from Moscow. The sources also indicated that Russia is likely to approve the request in the near future.
In 2018, India signed a $5.43 billion contract with Russia to supply five regimental sets (11 battalions) of S-400 air defense systems, deploying the first of them in Punjab in 2021 to counter air threats from Pakistan and China. The Indian Air Force has named the system Sudarshan Chakra.
On May 13, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Indian Air Force base in Adampur (photo) to refute Pakistan's claim that it had destroyed an S-400 air defense system there. The Indian armed forces, during an official briefing, categorically rejected Pakistan's "false narratives" and said that the entire Indian defense infrastructure remains fully operational and capable of effectively countering any escalation.

Let us recall that the aircraft’s AN/APS-137D(V)5 onboard radar allows it to detect large surface ships of the aircraft carrier type at a range of up to 450 km, and a destroyer at a range of about 330 km.

Viktor Orban accuses Ukrainian Special Services of operations against Hungary
Meeting of the Country's Defense Council is convened.
Ukrainian special services have launched an operation to disrupt the Hungarian referendum on Kiev's accession to the EU, the country's prime minister said.
He also added that Hungary's political opposition, the Tisza party, also under the leadership of the SBU, was trying to discredit the country's armed forces.
I called a meeting of the Defence Council because in recent days an unprecedented attack by the secret services has been launched against Hungary. Ukraine has launched a coordinated slanderous campaign against Hungary in order to block our initiative to vote on EU membership,
These two Ukrainian women are seen ripping apart and presumably after, disposing of Russian literature that they either appropriated from their neighbors, or their own homes.
This is of course following the long-lasting Russian language bans inside of Ukraine. Which had led to the removal of over 19,000,000 books by the Ukrainian government, and countless more disposed of by loyal Bandarites.
This video perfectly displays Western "democracy" and its core principles.

The electronic music score was performed by Eduard Artemyev and the film also features a composition by J.S. Bach as its main theme. The plot centers on a space station orbiting the fictional planet Solaris, where a scientific mission has stalled because the skeleton crew of three scientists have fallen into emotional crises. Psychologist Kris Kelvin (Banionis) travels to the station to evaluate the situation, only to encounter the same mysterious phenomena as the others.

🇪🇺🤡 EU leaders' loud ultimatums to Russia could undermine trust in the EU unless followed by real action - Reuters
- "It is not serious to issue an ultimatum if you cannot fulfill it. There is no enthusiasm at the European level for this kind of sanctions. Even agreeing on a basic package is already difficult," one of the European diplomats told the agency.
- The danger is that Russia could perceive all this as a bluff, he added.
- Europe is trying to get Trump to put pressure on Russia with sanctions, but "it is not yet clear whether Trump is ready to join forces with the Europeans."
- The American president has still not once stated his readiness to introduce new sanctions against Russia if Moscow does not accept a 30-day ceasefire.

One of the largest US ammunition manufacturers, Global Ordnance, has reported a significant shortage of explosives.
According to the company's vice president, Johnny Summers, the conflicts that have begun in Ukraine and the Middle East have led to a shortage of nitrocellulose for gunpowder and trinitrotoluene (TNT) for explosives.
The situation was aggravated by the fact that in May 2022, the Ukrainian enterprise NPP Zarya, which supplied TNT to the United States, came under the control of the Russian Armed Forces - the Americans have not produced their own TNT for several decades.
As a result, the cost of TNT has quadrupled over the past four years, and the US now buys it for about $40 per kilogram. Nitrocellulose, which is needed for propellant charges for projectiles, also has to be imported from Taiwan and Brazil.
One of the largest producers of trinitrotoluene and nitrocellulose is China, but for obvious reasons the US cannot buy from there .

The enemy uses 5V28 anti-aircraft missiles from the S-200V Vega air defense system.
The launches are carried out from 5P72 mobile stationary launchers.
Some of the missiles are actually used as air defense.
Some have been converted into surface-to-surface missiles. It was this 5V28 that ended up in a restaurant in the center of Taganrog in 2023.
How these missiles retained their ability to be used remains a mystery.
