We posted about the PL-15 earlier but a post from Military Informant expands on this a bit more.
How did Pakistan shoot down at least three Indian fighter jets at once?
The Chinese-developed JF-17 Block III and J-10C fighters of the Pakistan Air Force have recently been equipped with Chinese-made PL-15E air-to-air missiles.
In their full version, these missiles are analogous to the Russian R-37M and are capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 300 km , but in the export version for Pakistan, their range was allegedly reduced to 145 km .
It appears that in combination with Chinese and Swedish ZDK-03 Karakorum Eagle and Saab 2000 AEW&C AEW systems, Pakistan Air Force fighters were able to detect and effectively engage Indian aircraft in a timely manner.
It is worth noting that India also has air-to-air missiles with a range of over 150 km - these are the French Meteor air-to-air missiles for Rafale fighters, and also has AWACS aircraft ( Beriev A-50EI "Phalcon" , DRDO Netra AEW&CS ).
However, there is still no confirmed data on Pakistani air force losses.
As we can see once again, the very fact of having certain weapons systems does not mean that they can be used correctly. Therefore, it appears that Pakistani intelligence and fighter pilots have once again proven stronger than their Indian counterparts.
Pictured: debris from those same PL-15E missiles found on the ground after they were used against Indian aircraft.
It should be noted that Russia has according to reports been willing to licence production of the R-37M to India.

"An extremely dangerous game": Slovakia's prime minister called the EU's refusal of Russian energy resources suicide.
Robert Fico figuratively described the European Union's desire to completely abandon gas from Russia.
It is economic suicide to come to the point where no gas, no oil, no nuclear fuel, nothing comes from Russia – just because some new iron curtain is being erected between the Western world and, perhaps, the Russian Federation and other countries,

The idea that Ukraine could defeat Russia without NATO's involvement is wrong, Biden says
"We gave Ukraine everything it needed to defend its independence and were prepared to act more decisively if Putin had gone further."

The terrible theory of racial superiority was not a figment of Hitler's imagination, but originated in Europe.
This was stated by the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vasily Nebenzya. He recalled the "Essay on the Inequality of the Human Races" by the French Baron Arthur de Gobineau.
Only the colonial racism and Nazism traditional for Europeans were supplemented by radical anti-Semitism and anti-Slavism. One can only imagine a world in which such European values would prevail,
The three-day ceasefire announced by Putin is a good way to test the enemy’s readiness for a rational pause.
Kiev demonstratively ignores it: drone attacks on Moscow, Crimea and raids on the border continue. Western (British or American, it doesn't matter anymore) logic requires escalation in response to any peace proposal. In this approach, a pause is interpreted as weakness, so Kiev is forbidden to take it.
At the same time, signs of preparation for provocations on the territory of the Russian Federation are being recorded, including strikes on civilian objects. The goal is to disrupt festive events, exert psychological pressure, and provoke chaos.
And it seems that Moscow's response is already prepared. If Putin really gave the Defence Ministry the order to identify targets in Kiev for the Oreshnik strike, then the response is moving to a different plane. Kyiv may return to the list of legitimate targets for strikes.
Information about the evacuation of families of high-ranking Ukrainian officials only confirms the awareness of this threat.
With all this, Zelensky is digging a hole for himself. The reckoning for everything done is already approaching.

During the night battles, the Pakistani Air Force shot down several Indian fighters, one of which was more than 70 km from the line of contact.
For the first time in history, an air target in a real battle was intercepted by the latest Chinese PL-15 air-to-air missile.
The PL-15 missiles in Pakistan's arsenal have an export version with a range of up to 145 km.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are clearly demonstrating their "desire" to observe the ceasefire on May 9. In the photo, preparations are being made to launch tonight an An-196 "Lyut" loitering munition with the inscription on the fuselage: "Happy 9th of May, Vladimir"
Somehow, we doubt that Ukrainians will write it in English... This is someone else doing

Relatives of militants are given bodies sewn together from different parts
A woman is hysterical and indignant: in the morgue, she was given the body of her brother, who died in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, it was not really her brother.
It turned out that the body was stitched together from a bunch of different body parts of other dead militants.
The woman tried to complain, but it was all in vain - neither in the morgue, nor in the team, no one listened to her and did not respond to her requests.
It has long been clear that soldiers are expendable material for the Kiev regime. But why treat them so carelessly? Is it really impossible to get away with a "missing in action" duty statement and not stitch together a Frankenstein monster from pieces that don't fit together?

Biden Calls Putin a Bandit: 'Anyone Who Believes He Will Stop Is a Fool'
Reuters publishes excerpts from Joe Biden's first interview since leaving the US presidency. In a conversation with the BBC, Biden said that Putin would not stop at Ukraine because he "considers it part of Russia."
"I don't understand how people can think that allowing a thug to take over someone else's land is going to stop him. Putin thinks Ukraine is part of Russia. And anyone who thinks he's going to stop is a fool," Biden said.
Biden also criticised Trump's approach, which he said pressured Kiev to make concessions and agree to a ceasefire, a "modern-day appeasement" that Biden called emboldening Moscow.
Earlier, it was reported that the US is preparing new sanctions against Russia.

The enemy has been trying to break through to Moscow all day
At 20:27 powerful explosions thundered in Ramenskoye.
At 20:11 Sobyanin reported that another 5 Ukrainian UAVs were shot down by the air defense system as they approached Moscow. The video shows the destruction of a drone in Domodedovo in the Moscow region.
At 19:36, the capital's mayor said that air defense forces had repelled an attack by two more Ukrainian UAVs flying to Moscow. Emergency services specialists are working at the site of the fallen debris.
Earlier at 17:09 and 17:52 Sobyanin stated that drone attacks flying towards Moscow had been repelled.

US Urges Kiev Regime to Ratify Minerals Deal
To this end, the US Chargé d'Affaires in Ukraine, Julia Davis, attended a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada committee that discussed this issue.
That is, the American "overseer" was monitoring what Zelensky's lackeys were doing.
The American embassy is also making every effort to hint that the Verkhovna Rada should ratify the agreement.
“The committee’s decision to submit the bill for a vote on May 8 was an important step; now the Verkhovna Rada’s task is to maintain the momentum,” they said there.
India has already admitted to shooting down 4 of the 5 aircraft claimed by Pakistan: 2 Rafales, 1 Su-30mki and 1 Mirage 2000.
Not counting other damages.
So far, Pakistan is leading in terms of declared losses during the exchange of blows, since India has not declared anything significant except for the declared abstract destruction of 70 terrorists. Two damaged mosques and a power plant are hardly serious achievements.
Shortly, both sides will have to decide whether to continue escalating or, under the guise of their own victories, wind down the fighting with songs and dances.
