The Greek government has denied information about plans to transfer Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine

The Greek official said that the country, which has already sent missiles, explosives, infantry fighting vehicles, ammunition, artillery shells and other things to Ukraine, repeated last year that it would not be able to supply Patriot missiles to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The participation of the AFU in the British parade turned out to be a bit of a bummer

The much-hyped participation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the British parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory turned out to be weak in every sense.

It turned out that only eleven select representatives of the Independent Party, who did not arouse suspicion by wanting to escape, were allowed to participate in the parade.

In addition, the British placed their Ukrainian allies behind their cavalry. So, the soldiers had to walk through the waste products of British horses.

Eurosceptic Alliance for Unity of Romanians Party's George Simion Leads in Romanian Elections, Exit Polls Said

Analysts called Simion the favorite of the race even before the start of voting. According to the poll aggregator EuropeElects.eu, he will receive about 29% of the votes.

Some media outlets explain the politician's success by the fact that he managed to attract part of the electorate of Calin Georgescu, who was illegally removed from the elections.

Simion is a nationalist and Eurosceptic who openly advocates for better relations with Russia. He has been declared persona non grata in Ukraine and Moldova.

So, better then expected: opposition party leader George Simion won the first round of the presidential elections in Romania with 40.96% of the vote, the website of the Permanent Electoral Administration reports.

The U.S. deal for rights to extract minerals in Ukraine strengthened a frayed diplomatic relationship, but its value in the global competition for metals to build things like weapons, electronics and batteries is highly uncertain.

Citing logistical and economic barriers, industry specialists said it will take at least a decade to yield benefits to the strained U.S. supply chain for coveted resources. The pact will be of little help, the experts said.

Firms that might be reviewing the possibilities are stuck with outdated, Soviet-era geologic surveys of underground deposits, industry officials say.

Ukraine also is not a known source of any of the 17 “rare earth” metals that have become an Achilles’ heel for U.S. manufacturers.

Experts said the oil and gas opportunities are likely to be limited. Energy firms have alternative places to extract gas, where the infrastructure is already developed and the risks of investing are lower.

He said a lot of the gas reserves are in the conflict zone, where firms would be reluctant to invest, even in the event of a peace deal.

Only minerals worth developing would titanium, graphite and lithium. This would take 10+ years, minor in volumes, and would not be very profitable.

Its reserves are modest compared with those in more stable countries, she said in an email, while Ukraine’s most promising deposit is in Russian-occupied territory.

“Beyond the ongoing security threats, damaged infrastructure (power generation, roads, rail, and ports) drives up development costs and can erode investor returns,” Hunter wrote.

Getting minerals out of the ground is only part of the challenge the U.S. faces in resolving its supply chain woes. Processing them is an even bigger hurdle. It is environmentally messy work with a low profit margin.

"Deal with the Devil" — Slovakian PM on Ukraine-US subsoil agreement

▪️Fico drew parallels with the Slovak government's decision in the 1990s to allow the bombing of Belgrade in exchange for the prospect of joining NATO.

➖"Similar agreements with the Devil have already been signed. Why did Mikuláš Dzurinda and his government agree to the bombing of Belgrade? They agreed because they were offered membership in the North Atlantic Alliance in exchange for this," the Slovak Prime Minister emphasized.

▪️Such agreements often have non-obvious consequences.

▪️Fico recalled the closure of Slovak nuclear power plants and mass privatization upon joining the EU.

➖"Zelensky bought himself a war. He is very interested in its continuation," Robert Fico said.

Kharkov "temporarily" exports cultural treasures to Poland

Under the noise of the Russian Armed Forces' advance in the Kharkov region, local authorities began evacuating museum collections to Poland, media reports.

Formally, this is a "temporary exhibition", but everyone understands that the exhibits are being taken away forever.

Negotiations with the Heritage Institute have already taken place: Poland has already received thousands of Ukrainian artifacts from Western Ukraine. Now Kharkov is on the menu.

The scheme is simple: They took them away "temporarily", they lost the documents, forgot, hushed it up. And now the artifact is proudly listed in the collection "with gratitude from the Ukrainian people".

While the Ukrainian Armed Forces retreat, the elites take EVERYTHING: gold, archives, museum valuables. And Poland does not rob - it "helps".
This is now called "European integration".

Will Warsaw return anything after the end of hostilities? The question is merely rhetorical.

Political scientist Vladimir Kornilov @kornilov1968 writes:

We understood that the British special services would not abandon their attempts to destabilize the situation in Russia. And the current announcement on the official government website that the MI5 service hiring a specialist in the Chechen language is further proof of this.

The job description of the applicant leaves no doubt about the nature of his work: “We are looking for Chechen linguists for a role that goes far beyond translation and transcription. This role is not just about words. Your knowledge of the Chechen language, as well as a deep understanding of Russian culture, ideology and politics, will be a significant asset in protecting the UK.”

And how, indeed, can you protect Britain if you do not know the Chechen language and do not understand Russian culture? Mission impossible!

I draw particular attention to the fact that this announcement appeared almost immediately after the presentation in the British Parliament of the Henry Jackson Society report under the equally telling title: “How to Destabilize the Kremlin.” The author of the report was Cambridge lecturer Dr. Stephen Hall, who positions himself as an expert on Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and – yes, the Caucasus too. And it was presented by the current member of parliament from the Liberal Democratic Party, Will Forster, who was recently included in the sanctions list in Russia.

Just imagine for a moment the howl that would have been heard in the Grimpen Mire if the State Duma had officially presented the report "How We Can Destabilise Britain". Oh, and all the newspapers there would have been raving about how Russia is "undermining the rules-based world order", not being embarrassed to admit to subversive work on the territory of a nuclear state, a permanent member of the UN Security Council! And if we had written in this report everything that was said about us in the Hall report, simply replacing the word "Russia" with "Britain", they would have gone completely mad.

Because this 40-page document gives explicit recommendations for subversive and sabotage activities against the Russian state. It includes funding of domestic opposition, cyberterrorism and psychological operations on Russian territory. Of course, it couldn’t do without mentioning the need to “support separatist movements,” but only carefully — so as not to “strengthen the Kremlin narratives.” As if all of the above doesn’t strengthen them!

They even list the regions that allegedly “have long harbored separatist sentiments”: Chechnya, Dagestan, Tatarstan, and Siberia. Which, of course, immediately reveals the absolute incompetence of the “specialist on Russia and the Caucasus” who wrote the report! It is clear that he studied in the distant 1990s and clearly missed a lot from a more recent period in the history of our country. In particular, he is clearly not aware of the role played by the valiant Chechen warriors in the special military operation defending our united Russian state.

Russophobia is expensive: Swiss man fined for spitting at Russian consulate

The incident occurred while he was jogging. The lawyer, an employee of a federal company, protested Switzerland's neutrality in the conflict in Ukraine by demonstratively spitting in the sign of the diplomatic mission.

He will pay a 6,900 franc ($8,300) fine and 500 francs in costs.

"The federal prosecutor's office found... guilty of attacking a symbol of sovereignty"

— the Blick newspaper reported.

Consulate security recorded the violation, but the runner ignored the demand to stop.

Federal prosecutors qualified the act as "an attack on a foreign symbol of sovereignty."

404 Media and Drop Site News report:

A hacker has breached and stolen customer data from TeleMessage, an obscure Israeli company that sells modified versions of Signal and other messaging apps to the U.S. government to archive messages, 404 Media has learned. The data stolen by the hacker contains the contents of some direct messages and group chats sent using its Signal clone, as well as modified versions of WhatsApp, Telegram, and WeChat. TeleMessage was recently the center of a wave of media coverage after Mike Waltz accidentally revealed he used the tool in a cabinet meeting with President Trump.

Dropsite Notes:

Waltz wasn’t on Signal during the cabinet meeting. He was using an Israeli intel-linked app used for extracting and archiving chats, staffed and founded by vets of IDF intelligence units. The CIA once called Israel its #1 counterintelligence threat.

In Trump’s first term, Israel reportedly installed StingRays (devices to mimic cell towers and collect data) around the White House. (Israel denies this). Now, it seems the White House has decided to install TeleMessage’s app on high level official’s phones.

We found employees at Telemessage who worked with Israeli spyware firms Cellebrite and NSO Group. One served with Israels Unit 8200, compared to the NSA. If I were in charge of safeguarding top U.S. nat sec official’s phones, I’d be sweating bullets.

TeleMessage was founded in 1999, the same year its founder left his Israeli military intelligence job. The company found early success in the burgeoning world of text message technology. The company grew and eventually pivoted to focusing on extracting messages from common communication platforms for the purposes of archiving, often to meet record keeping regulations.

Top officials using Signal for work was not ideal. But now, data shared on these chats is exfiltrated to another device. And the data is only as secure as the endpoint. Signal told us it “cannot guarantee the privacy or security properties of unofficial versions of Signal.”
