If swift have chosen not to adopt XRP, U can be assured they made this decision for a good reason. Not out of stubbornness. We are not privy to what goes on behind closed doors. Even you with your 20 years experience in banking wont know what is going on in tbe background. If you were, you wouldnt be wondering if & when XRP would be adopted. We're all in the dark so to think we know better than these top execs is deluded.

I’m sure they’re smart enough to be at that position. And me calling it stubbornness was just a humble view that might make no sense but yes you are right, those top execs have to have such competencies that are key to success where we perceive them as devils.
By the way, I’m in the banking industry for almost 20 years and I could construct an in-depth views of what’s going on but I chose not to bother but to read headlines.
SWIFT is so powerful and liquid but the recent geopolitical incidents with Russia and China and the freeze of SWIFT on Russian banks and the newly threat of BRICS union of developing new replacement of SWIFT just added a sweet pressure on SWIFT to either take a shortcut with ripple and become better in economy of scale OR ripple might just be a pain in the arse at any point of time.
The tariffs games is affecting us all. Unfortunately here in Saudi Arabia our markets have been bleeding so badly ever since.
