Subject: Grievance Regarding SSC Exam Transparency and Standardization
Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing to bring to your attention several pressing issues in the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) examination process that are affecting lakhs of aspirants. The lack of transparency, fairness, and standardization has raised serious concerns, and urgent reforms are required to ensure a just and efficient recruitment system.
The key issues and proposed reforms are as follows:
1. Final Answer Key, Marks, and Document Verification Before Post Preference and Final Result
i) The final answer key and individual marks should be released before candidates are asked to fill out their post preferences.
ii) Proper DV must be conducted before the final result to eliminate ineligible candidates.
2. SSC CGL Mains (T-2) in a Single Shift to Eliminate Normalization Issues
i) Conducting Tier-2 in multiple shifts creates inconsistencies due to normalization.
3. Standardization of Question Papers for Each Level
i) No Wrong Question in the Exam
ii) Need for Increasing the Difficulty Level of SSC Exams and set the level
iii) Increase in the Number of Tier-2 Questions to cover a wider range of topics, testing candidates on all aspects of the syllabus.
4. Infrastructure-Related Issues
Many aspirants face technical issues during exams, such as:
i) Malfunctioning keyboards in typing tests.
ii) Delays in providing rough sheets.
iii) Biometric verification glitches.
iv) Poor-quality speaker sound during the Stenographer skill test.
These issues must be resolved by enforcing stricter quality control at examination centres.
We request immediate attention to these concerns to uphold the integrity of the SSC recruitment process. The lack of reforms continues to cause distress among aspirants, affecting their future prospects. We kindly urge the authorities to take appropriate measures at the earliest.
