I think around 2023, me and some other dude used to be in a lot of groups just to troll most of the time.
(We were bored)
But he used to receive a lot of dms from people because they thought he was a girl.
So, I gave him a gangster profile pic, and no one dmed him again.

By the way, I just checked WhatsApp's settings and they don't actually have an equivalent privacy feature. But they offer an option to block unknown DMs once they hit a certain rate
