now i maybe understand, for flask_wtf it check the csrf thats why it had form.validate_on_submit, and it detect the if the session cookie got tampred and csrf random value got submitted.

And in this case for normal flask.session's .get(key) if this key got tampered the
sesssion.get(key_name) will returns me the None, if this got tampred i will always get none, so i am fully relax now to check the pending_email like this which are in the session cookie.

🤔 i have a fllask + flask-login session security question
When I use login_user(user_obj), I understand Flask protects the session cookie from client-side modification/tampering.
But I also store things like:

session['login_pending'] = {'email': 'a@gmail.com'}

and later access it with:

session.get('login_pending')

🔐 My question: How can I be sure the user hasn't modified the email inside the session cookie to someone else's email?
Does Flask automatically detect/prevent this when I read session manually, or do I need to verify/sign/check it separately in my route?
And is this protection related to Flask-WTF's form.validate_on_submit(), or are these two things completely separate? is notmal session data reads protect lile form.validate_on_submit()

I know it’s a bit off-topic, but I asked because I’m genuinely worried about my future. I don’t really have another skill or career besides programming, and given the very difficult political situation in my country, I’m especially concerned about what the future might look like.

A few years ago, building even a simple frontend could be extremely difficult for me and I had to struggle with every line of code. But now, with AI agents, I can build things much more easily, sometimes without writing a single line of code myself.
