The pixel bug in mobile data tile is now fixed in QPR 3 Beta 3. This should mean it will take another 5 months to be fixed in stable builds if Google plans to release this fix in QPR 3 March Update

A teardown of the Pixel 11 Pro has given our first look underneath the new HiLight feature which replaced the temperature sensor on the rear visor.

Disassembly confirms the module features 8 physical RGB LEDs placed in a circular layout with a flashlight at the center and an optical diffuser is placed on top of them.

BREAKING: Googlebooks bootloader is officially unlockable with Magisk root support

Google has officially documented bootloader unlocking on the GoogleBook support page. Magisk doesn't support Headless System User Mode (HSUM) out of the box, and USB flashing requires special cables, but John Wu has already developed fixes for both and will share setup details soon to root the GoogleBooks.

The Android 17 QPR 1 update for Google Pixel devices contains a regression in the Pixel kernel driver tree, causing stuttering, lag, and outright freezes under memory pressure.

Unfortunately, this buggy QPR 1 stable update, which includes numerous UI bugs and performance issues, is also the last update for the Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 6 devices.
