🇦🇿🇦🇿☄️ Azerbaijani regime sentences an MBH member Tarlan Sayadov to 3 years in prison

🔸 The Baku Court for Grave Crimes has issued another verdict against a believer. On July 23, the trial concluded regarding Tarlan Sayadov, a member of the Muslim Unity Movement, who was charged under Article 234.4.3 of the Criminal Code (illegal trafficking and production of large quantities of narcotic or psychotropic substances).

🔸 In his final statement, Tarlan Sayadov declared that he had committed no crime and that all accusations against him were fabricated.

🔸 “My only fault is my faith and my beliefs. Today, I am being punished for my ideology.”

🔸 Judge Roman Alakbarli then announced the verdict. Due to the lack of evidence supporting the trafficking charge, the court reclassified the charge from Article 234.4.3 to Article 234.1-1 (illegal acquisition, storage, preparation, processing, or transportation of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances in quantities exceeding personal use, without the intent to sell), and sentenced Tarlan Sayadov to 3 years in prison.

🔸 It should be noted that Tarlan Sayadov, son of Aghajan, was arrested on March 15, 2024, and charged with a fabricated narcotics offense.
