Is making noise one of people's rights?
This is an interesting question because it touches on the fine balance between individual freedom and collective responsibility. While people have the right to express themselves, including through music, speech, or festivities, this right is not absolute. Noise pollution is a real issue, particularly in urban environments, where uncontrolled noise can lead to stress, sleep deprivation, and even long-term health problems. That’s why many governments enforce strict noise regulations, especially during nighttime hours. In my view, making noise is a right only when it doesn’t interfere with others’ quality of life. Mutual respect should be the guiding principle in such cases.
