Britain will spend more than £1 billion on artificial intelligence and creating a team of hackers to fight Russia and China, The Telegraph reported, citing the country's Defense Minister Healey.
The newspaper says offensive operations will be carried out through a new Cyber and Electromagnetic Command, which will also oversee a £1bn investment in upgraded targeting systems using an artificial intelligence "kill web" linking military systems.

However, activities by other countries range from spying on government officials to installing software that causes industrial equipment to malfunction.
