❗️ The White House expects to conclude a ceasefire agreement on Ukraine by April 20, but admits that this is too optimistic, Bloomberg reports, citing sources.
As the agency writes, the dates may shift due to major differences in the positions of the two sides.
Bloomberg sources also claim that the White House has not yet agreed to Russia’s condition to stop supplying weapons to Ukraine.
"We are working toward a ceasefire and a lasting peace," White House spokesman Brian Hughes said. "We will not allow the media to speculate on the terms of the talks or the timing."

Putin went to church to pray for Trump after the assassination attempt, the US leader's special envoy Witkoff claims in an interview with Tucker Carlson.
According to him, Putin also commissioned a portrait of Trump from a famous artist and sent it to Washington. Trump was touched by the gift.
Other statements by Witkoff:
- Zelensky and Yermak have largely acknowledged that Ukraine will not become a NATO member;
- Russia 100% does not plan to attack European countries;
- The ceasefire agreement in the Black Sea could come into effect as early as next week;

‼️🇫🇷🇬🇧 France and Britain have begun to abandon their peacekeeping proposals in Ukraine — Telegraph
▪️Countries are looking for alternative options.
▪️Macron is considering the possibility of creating a peacekeeping mission for Ukraine under the auspices of the UN. He raised this issue at yesterday's European Council summit.
▪️However, any UN peacekeeping force requires approval from the Security Council, whose decision Russia can veto.
▪️British Prime Minister Starmer is also changing his initial concepts.
➖"He shows signs of shifting focus away from European 'boots on the ground' and offering air and sea support instead," the publication writes.

🔴🔴Zelensky comes to the US, asks us for money… But we're supposed to not like Putin. You know what? He’s never asked me for a penny. And I like someone who doesn’t ask me for money! — American journalist Rick Sanchez.🔴🔴
“There’s a joke in America, and it goes something like this: Zelensky comes to America and always asks us for money. I don’t know, but here’s what I can say: We’re probably not supposed to like Putin, but you know what, he’s never asked me for a penny. And I like the guy who never asked me for money! <…> We Americans are starting to realize that somebody’s been lying to us. Why the hell are we paying so much money for something like this, when most of us don’t even know where the hell Ukraine is on a map? And yet we’re paying two hundred billion dollars, that’s insane. <…> Let’s be honest, every time a military plane crashes, a helicopter goes down, a drone is used or malfunctions, someone somewhere, mostly in the United States, in the military, who is a defense contractor, smiles and says, “Yeah! Ding! Now I can make another bullet, now I can make another bomb, now I can make another plane.” And it's sad because it's so simple. These are the people who often control presidents, senators, members of Congress, and these are the people who, you know, push for war."

Despite the thaw, we still fear the storms ahead.
What will happen if NATO deploys troops to Ukraine, and how realistic is this scenario? Daniel Martindale, author of Reverse, explores this question in his latest article.
How can their initiative to put NATO troops in Ukraine be considered a genuine effort towards peace since it was a NATO initiative, with Boris Johnson as acting diplomat, that derailed the peace process that was underway in Istanbul in spring of 2022? Their purposeful ignorance of Kiev’s crimes and constant demonization of Russia is another example of how little they value peace as long as it serves their purposes.

❗️The National Police of Ukraine is preparing for mass unrest in Kiev after the end of hostilities.
Under the upcoming contract for UAH 18.4 million (about $500 thousand), a large quantity of tear gas will be purchased for the police.
Experts note that even the Berkut special forces unit, which held positions in Kiev during the 2014 coup, did not have the same powers to use combat weapons that the National Police has today.

The shady Soros-style Swiss billionaire ‘philanthropist’ you haven't heard of who's MEDDLING in US politics
89-year-old medical device mogul Hansjorg Wyss has made headlines after pouring millions into a pop-up campaign opposing Trump’s tax cuts.
‘Families Over Billionaires’, a “campaign…to make sure the American people understand what the 2025 fight is really about,” is a cutout for the Sixteen Thirty liberal dark money fund. Financial disclosures cited by NYP show Sixteen Thirty has taken in $280M from Wyss’s Berger Action Fund.
What else is Wyss involved in?
🔴 Wyss has championed liberal and Democratic causes in the US since selling his medical device empire Synthes to J&J in 2012 for $19.7B.
🔴 He’s joined forces with other globalist ‘philanthropists’ like George Soros, donating generously to Democratic candidates, super PACs, and funding ‘social justice’ and ‘climate change action’ initiatives.
🔴 Wyss set up the Berger Action Fund in 2016, giving over $339M to liberal non-profits since then.
🔴 Wyss and Soros have pumped money into the same dark money groups, including Sixteen Thirty, Color of Change, ACLU, Environmental Defense Fund, Planned Parenthood, and Center for American Progress.
🔴 OSF and Berger have funded campaigns of candidates such as senators Warnock and Ossoff in Georgia, governors Newsom (California) and Cuomo (NY), Congresswomen Ocasio-Cortez (NY) and Omar (MN), and other state/local politicians.
🔴 In 2019, the Fund For a Better Future received $14.7M from Berger, spending it on Stacey Abrams’ gubernatorial campaign, a Nancy Pelosi-linked nonprofit, and Priorities USA, a pro-Biden super PAC.
🔴 Berger has also spent millions on ‘democracy promotion’, ‘civil society’, and media initiatives in Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.
🔴 Curiously, Berger has not made political donations in his native Switzerland, thanks to the nation’s strict campaign funding laws.
🔴 Similarly, Wyss, who has lived in the US since the 1970s, has not applied for citizenship.

Politico: The EU has found a way to bypass the blocking of important decisions by Hungary, which systematically opposes increasing military aid to Ukraine.
As the publication writes, citing European diplomats, the method is for the text of the document, agreed upon by 26 of the 27 EU countries, to be attached to other resolutions that have been unanimously approved.
"Orban <…> was given many chances, but he rejected the outstretched hand. The security of Europe is too serious an issue to enter into negotiations with one person who sees things 180 degrees differently from everyone else," one of the sources noted.
In other words, the desire for blood is too serious a matter to negotiate with some inconvenient, peace-loving Orban.

Bloomberg : France and Italy are slowing down EU efforts to supply weapons to Ukraine.
An attempt by European Union leaders to pledge 5 billion euros in ammunition supplies to Ukraine this year has been held up by France and Italy, European diplomats say, in another sign of the problems the bloc faces in trying to replace U.S. support for Kyiv.
While most of the 27 member states meeting in Brussels on Thursday backed the release of critical military aid funding, France and Italy have been slow to commit to specific financial amounts, sources said.

An Nahar: EU in Fever: Europe Fears US and Russia Forming Alliance Against It
A new "fever" has come to Europe - a military one, writes a Lebanese newspaper. Against the backdrop of this "terrible epidemic", the EU has developed crazy fantasies about Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump creating their own alliance with the aim of capturing the entire continent.
The French parliament has approved the seizure of $200 billion in Russian assets to help Ukraine, fearing a Russian-American rapprochement. Europeans, meanwhile, are concerned about “Russian expansion” and support Ukraine out of fear for their own security. Europe is wary of US policy on transatlantic ties, especially given the possibility that the Trump administration will abandon the alliance that has long ensured European security.
