A young brother from our community has been battling with cancer for the past 18 months.
He has undertaken several treatments including 4 months of chemotherapy (privately) which has been very expensive and Allah is the provider.
Qadr Allah, the scans have shown the cancer has not fully cleared and started to spread more.
Due to this he will need to undergo further cycles of chemotherapy and a follow up scan.
After asking Allah for his help, and putting our trust in Him, I’m looking to raise around £2000 towards this

Ibn al-Qayyim raḥimahullaah said:
“Seeking knowledge is from the greatest of good deeds, and good deeds cancel out sins. Thus, it is befitting that seeking knowledge for the sake of Allah’s Face should expiate what has preceded from sins.
The textual evidences have indeed indicated that following a sin with a good deed wipes it away, so what then of that which is from the greatest of good deeds and the most noble of acts of obedience?!
And it has been narrated from ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb raḍiyallaahu ʿanhu:
‘Indeed, a man may leave his home while upon him are sins like the mountain of Tihāmah. Then when he hears knowledge, he fears, returns, and repents. So he returns to his home while no sin remains upon him. Therefore, do not separate yourselves from the gatherings of the people of knowledge.’”

I’ve noticed our fundraising for our beloved Daar us Sunnah has gone quiet — THREE WEEKS AGO WE WERE SHOUTING FROM THE ROOFTOPS, NOW BARELY A WHISPER.
Remember, our beloved Prophet ﷺ said:
«خَيْرُ الْأَعْمَالِ أَدْوَمُهَا وَإِنْ قَلَّ» (رواه البخاري ومسلم)
“THE BEST OF DEEDS ARE THOSE DONE CONSISTENTLY, EVEN IF SMALL.”
And Allah reminds us:
«فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَاتِ» (البقرة: 148)
“SO RACE TO [ALL] THAT IS GOOD.”
As we all know that WHAT TRULY MATTERS IS THE ENDING — الحسن الخاتمة (HAVING A GOOD ENDING). IT’S NOT ABOUT THE BEGINNING, BUT HOW WE FINISH.
LET’S REIGNITE THE ENERGY, CONTINUE CALLING THE COMMUNITY TO GIVE, AND PUSH THROUGH THESE LAST DAYS OF RAMADAN — THE MOST BLESSED DAYS. LET’S MAKE SURE OUR ENDING IS STRONG, MEANINGFUL, AND FULL OF REWARD.

The benefactor who gives charity remains under the protection of his charity and goodness; from Allah he has a protecting shield and a fortified stronghold.”

As Salaamu Aleykum ikhwaan, an idea, don't know if or how quick it can be implemented:
We need a dedicated group of 20/30 brothers / sisters who will interact and comment, minimum 5 words on any fundraising / fundraiser post on ALL platforms, mainly YouTube Instagram Tiktok and X, throughout Ramadhan.
They need to like, comment, share, if they can do this within like the first 10mins, so maybe ask them to put notifications on.

Not all of us are able to give financially - may Allah provide for us all. Alhamdulillah, our Lord is Most Merciful and Most Just. He never abandons His servants, and He never deprives us of opportunities to earn reward.
Even if we don’t have wealth to give, *we can still receive the same reward as those who do*. So let’s share, encourage, and guide others toward charity and Allah, in His generosity, will grant us the reward as well, inshaa’Allah.
