The EU's support for this restoration aligns with a condition tying $1.7 billion in aid to anti-corruption progress for Ukraine.
The bill now goes to Zelensky who has 15 days to sign it into law or return it to parliament with amendments, which parliament can override with a two-thirds majority vote.
