After a simple quick, five minute Google search, I found a few websites that you could easily calculate based off your electricity rates, network hashrates, and slew of other factors you need to calculate to see how much your upfront costs would be vs. what profits you'd have vs. what losses you may have, over a given period of time.
There is a wealth of information out there, you just need to look for it.
You can start right away by checking out some of those sites I linked. If you still are having trouble and can't figure out some things after you took the time and did some research, then please, by all means, come back and we'll see what we can do to help you out.
But the best way to see what you need, is by searching. That's the best way to do it in my humble experience.
When I first started doing this, there was very little information out there. I had to join different forums and chat rooms and speak to other people starting out and I learned along the way, "trial and error" lots of pain, lots of good times and everything in between. It's a journey, it's a long term thing if you're serious about it.
So:
DYOR - (Do Your Own Research) Don't rely on other people to give you info that may be false or just plain wrong, or not in your best interest, but rather theirs.
There are tons of scammers out there, so be careful with people reaching out to you, giving you advice or links to click on etc, - just don't do that.
Look it up yourself. Don't take anyone's word for it. You don't know who you're talking to on the Internet and 9 times out of 10, It's most likely someone trying to steal your money.
So start off by taking it slow and do the work, read, and research and it'll be fun, and you'll feel more confident about doing things without worrying as much about some link, some random "person" gave you to sign up to, or something that empties all your wallets, or some ridiculous thing like that, which has happened countless times in the past.
"Don't Trust, Verify" as they say,
and it's true.
Don't trust anyone on the Internet. Don't trust me even.
I mean, I do admin this channel, and I'm giving you good advice on how to start out, but you don't know me. I could be a 13 year old kid trying to steal everyone's money, or I could be an experienced hacker that could do the same.
Ofc I'm not (I mean what criminal would say they're a criminal anyway, lol) even though I'm not, it's an example as a "Best Practice" to do it yourself and double check, and triple check things, and you'll get the hang of it sooner than later.
But just asking on some random channel and getting information from someone you don't know, you'll never learn anything, and when you're in a crunch and that someone's not available, then you'll really be screwed.
Trust me, that's the best suggestion I could give anyone who's starting out or just wants to find out more information about a new coin, a new GPU, miner, or a topic. Take the time, do the research and you'll find out everything you need to know.
Here's a few websites that I found in five minutes by doing a simple google search for some:
"Mining profitability calculator websites":
https://www.asicminervalue.com
https://whattomine.com
https://www.coinwarz.com
https://www.nicehash.com/profitability-calculator
https://www.viabtc.com/tools/calculator
https://2cryptocalc.com
https://hashrate.no/GPUcalculator
https://minerstat.com/mining-calculator
https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator
Good luck, and have fun with your journey 😎🤘👍
