Hey, I understand your struggle I was also there. One thing you should realize most of these youtubers have made tutorials like a marketing place. They get sponsored and market some of the libraries and frameworks. Most of those libraries or frameworks act like abstraction but with a cost because they are in business. Everything can be done manually using MERN stack which is the main method of creating systems or whichever stack you would like to use. So try implementing stuff without the added abstractions first. Auth you can implement manually if you would not like to use any added library or framework. Database: learn Mongo DB, My SQL or Postegress, ORM: Mongoose or Prisma, CMS not necessary you can implement everything it does manually. Email: Sendgrind, Mailchimp, Mailgun. Validation: yup or zod. Forms: Formik, React Hook Form. State Management: Redux, Zustand. CSS libraries/helpers: Tailwind, Sass, CSS module system. Frontend Libraries: Material UI, Shadcn, Antd but if you want to be skillful learn first to code everything in the front end using Html/JSX and css first before using frontend libraries. And for now avoid Cursor or Windsurf, write everything manually in vs code if want to learn only consult AI when actually stuck.
