🔈Lazybridging: The Celestia Endgame to Solve Fragmentation and Stream Assets from Anywhere
▫️Lazybridging is Celestia’s “endgame” plan to allow Celestia’s blockspace to be saturated by a multi-rollup ecosystem that feels like a seamless, single experience to the end user.
▫️Lazybridging will enable end-users to interact with assets across multiple rollups and beyond, all with the same experience of interacting with a single chain. We aim to achieve this while keeping the user experience lazy, the developer experience lazy, and the base layer lazy. Targeted for the first half of 2025.

📢 Introducing Blobstream: streaming modular DA to Ethereum
Formerly known as the Quantum Gravity Bridge (QGB), Blobstream streams commitments of Celestia’s data roots to an onchain Ethereum light client. Developers can integrate Blobstream to create high-throughput Ethereum L2s as easily as they develop smart contracts.
🔹 What is a Blobstream?
Blobstream allows L2 developers in the Ethereum ecosystem to integrate Celestia, expected to be the first data availability layer in production with data availability sampling (DAS). As a modular DA layer, Celestia provides dedicated blobspace that is priced independently of Ethereum gas costs and unrelated execution, maximising data throughput.
🔹How Blobstream works?
Blobstream uses a light client relay to submit commitments to Celestia’s data root to an Ethereum smart contract. The Blobstream smart contract enforces that every commitment has ECDSA signatures from validators representing at least 2/3s of the stake on Celestia.

🎉CELESTIA IS READY TO LAUNCH 🎉
Celestia is on track to become the first modular data availability layer with data availability sampling (DAS) light nodes. Initially experimental, Celestia’s Mainnet Beta features will enable its use as a data availability and consensus layer for rollups.
🔸 Launch schedule
Between now and Mainnet Beta, the Celestia Foundation will coordinate with the genesis validators to collect their genesis transactions. Those transactions will be included in the genesis block collectively created by a decentralized validator set.
🔸Looking ahead
Once the genesis block is finalized by the validator set through consensus, Celestia’s Mainnet Beta network will be live. Mainnet Beta is expected soon. 🔥
