For the complex application you need to know surrounding INFRASTRUCTURE. You need to know how things are interacting with each other and what kind of underwater stones you can hit.

It mostly depends on his goal.

If he just want to learn this is not bad solution for the beginning.

If he wants to create some tool (more or less simple and STATIC) that satisfies HIS OWN needs or his family/ friends need - it is a good start.

But if he wants to create more or less complex production service for somebody else (customers) - with high degree of probability he will encounter problems with the safety and bugs, memory leaks. In order to create production level application you need to know how to create it yourself - LLM can only save the time for you. But it will not provide you with production level quality. Especially when your code base start growing.
