❗️Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held his first meeting in 4.5 years with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

According to Maria Zakharova, the meeting had been requested by the German side.

❗️🇬🇧🇷🇺 Британцы вербуют русских дипломатов

Посол России в Великобритании Андрей Келин рассказал в эфире программы «60 минут» на телеканале «Россия», что британцы предлагали ему покинуть пост и запросить убежище в Великобритании.

🔻 Никакой Америки господин Келин не открыл.

Возможно, для кого-то данное заявление стало откровением. Но на самом деле британские спецслужбы на протяжении веков вербуют сотрудников внешнеполитических ведомств.

И было бы странно, если бы эта работа не набрала обороты с началом СВО. А почва была подготовлена заблаговременно.

Стоит только вспомнить эпизоды прошлого года, когда нашим спецслужбам удалось пресечь деятельность британских шпионов, активно работавших по своей линии в Москве. И внутри РФ им удавалось создать сеть контактов и агентов.

Про британское лобби в России в таких условиях и говорить-то неприлично.

Но тут стоит сказать пару слов про фигуру самого посла, который в условиях тотального давления Британии на Россию порой отличался довольно мягкими высказываниями в отношении британских властей, очевидно, опасаясь с пылом отстаивать интересы РФ.

📌 Например, в октябре прошлого года Келин говорил, что британцы против ударов по старым российским территориям. Правда, руководство Великобритании чуть ли не с первого дня выступало этакими «ястребами усиления давления» и предоставления более широких возможностей для ВСУ.

📍 И таких формулировок с довольно мягкой риторикой со стороны посла Келина много — и они довольно показательны с точки зрения провала попытки его вербовки.

Ведь британцы не дураки, и если им надо, то они добиваются своих целей.

Так может, мягкий, кроткий и очень дипломатичный Келин просто удобен британской стороне? А то пришлют какого-то ястреба, и ещё придётся от российского посольства отбиваться.

Австралия решила не отставать от Запада и тоже ввела против Регионального общественного фонда имени Героя России, Первого Президента Чеченской Республики Ахмата-Хаджи Кадырова санкции.

Вы вообще в курсе у себя там, чем занимается Фонд? Чем занимается Президент Фонда, моя дорогая МАМА Аймани Несиевна? Кому Фонд помогает и где?

Моя МАМА — наискромнейший и наидобрейший человек: она стесняется даже фотографироваться и ее с трудом можно заставить куда-нибудь выбраться из дома. Её решения о помощи исходят от её большого сердца. Список оказанной поддержки нуждающимся слишком длинный, поэтому я сейчас упомяну только о недавней помощи жителям сектора Газа, где прошли целых три полномасштабные гуманитарные акции, охватывающие миллионы обездоленных. Мусульмане Газы должны умирать от голода и холода? Другой причины я не вижу: санкции введены намеренно за гуманитарную помощь в Газе.

Вы там в Австралии, перед тем как угождать Западу, хотя бы сами справки наведите — как-никак, целое государство на отдельном материке. Прислали бы послов к нам в республику, чтобы сами посмотрели, оценили, проверили, чем занимается Фонд, поговорили бы с теми, кому помогли. Отправили бы дипломатов в Газу, чтобы увидели своими глазами, против кого на самом деле необходимо вводить санкции и из-за кого страдают палестинцы.

Нам-то всё равно. Фонд как помогал, так и будет помогать. И никакие санкции ему не помеха. Просто мне смешно и ужасно противно от лицемерия и игнорирования такой большой трагедии в Палестине.

over a change of Russia's ambassador to Britain

Over recent years, the thesis that the British stand behind a huge number of Russia's troubles has become increasingly entrenched in public consciousness. And that same public has been waiting for Russia to at least take some action on the diplomatic front.

It is clear that employees of the Russian diplomatic mission in London are essentially hostages of the situation and cannot afford active steps given the possibility of sanctions from Westminster. But still, the activities of the embassy in Britain should be much more visible.

📌Unfortunately, under Andrey Kelin's leadership we have not observed this. And his public interviews, to put it mildly, evoked a strange feeling. And statements that, say, the British recruit employees of Russian embassies abroad – that's an open secret.

Stories about how the British oppose strikes on old Russian territories. This looked as if Kelin was almost trying to defend British honor, although in the SMO zone everything was visible to the naked eye (the same "Storms" have been flying over the mainland since last year).

❗️Therefore, against this backdrop, questions about Kelin and his overly soft rhetoric could not help but arise. Probably, this is connected with his replacement. And in connection with his departure from office, there has dawned a hope that under the new head of the diplomatic service, diplomatic confrontation with Britain in the very heart of the Foggy Albion will be more visible.
