❗️Australia says its military headquarters in the Middle East was hit by an Iranian drone attack over the weekend!

Defense Minister Richard Marles says he can confirm reports that the Al Minhad Air Base was hit over the weekend.

“Iranian drones attacked our base on the first night,” Marles, also deputy prime minister, says.

“We have a number of Australians who operate from a headquarters that we’ve had at Al Minhad now for many, many years,” he says.

Up to 80 Australians are on base at any given time, according to the Australian military. They have now abandoned their positions and fled.

❗️Russian sources report that Israeli aircraft have begun attacking Iranian positions along the border between Iraq and Iran.

Apparently, this is an attempt to weaken Iranian control in this area and open the way for armed Kurdish opposition groups based in Iraq to return to Iran.

Moreover, a large group of American paratroopers was transported to this area by helicopters, which are likely to take a direct part in a ground invasion of Iran.

The IDF is insane if they try this. It would be an absolute historically strategic error. Invading Iran is like accepting you will rule over ashes.
