❗️Потомок забайкальских казаков Семен Бойков из Австралии высказался против блокировки мессенджера Telegram в РФ, отметив, что мессенджером в том числе пользуются на передовой участники СВО. Об этом 13 февраля он сообщил на Совете атаманов Забайкальского края, в котором участвовал по видеосвязи.

«Сейчас бурно обсуждается в российских СМИ вопрос отключения Telegram. Я, как информационщик, работающий за рубежом, считаю, это очень неправильный подход. „Телеграм“ необходим. Бойцы на фронте используют его. Мы ведем информационную борьбу тут через „Телеграм“, потому что во всех остальных западных платформах запрещена любая пророссийская идеология и контент. Поэтому, если Совет атаманов проголосует, представители СМИ в Забайкалье, я думаю, напишут, что тоже присоединятся ко всем тем адекватным депутатам Госдумы, которые против решения замедлить или вообще запретить Telegram. А что у нас остается тогда? Вот я не знаю. Я, как информационщик, даже не знаю, что будем делать», — заявил Бойков.

Основной же посыл его выступления был посвящен тому, что государство, на его взгляд, недостаточно поддерживает лояльных к России соотечественников за границей, которые готовы рисковать ради интересов страны. Претензия на этот счет была адресована МИД РФ.

Атаман назвал работу ведомства с диаспорой неэффективной и заявил, что министерство практически не участвует в поддержке активных соотечественников за рубежом.

❗️Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says NSW Police should provide a "full explanation" after officers dragged away Muslim worshippers praying at a Sydney protest opposing the visit of Israeli President Isaac Herzog.

❗️Europe’s “Readiness for Negotiations” with Russia: What’s Really Going On?

European statements about being ready to negotiate with Russia over the Ukraine conflict - often accompanied by ridiculous preconditions - are largely theatrical:

Europe has been sidelined in real peace talks. Despite repeatedly claiming it wants to be at the negotiation table with both Russia and the USA, Europe has effectively been excluded from meaningful diplomatic processes concerning Ukraine.

The deal reached between Putin and Trump in Anchorage showed that discussions about Ukraine can proceed without European involvement.

European leaders like Kallas and Macron are ignored by both Moscow and Washington and now try to create their own framework to remain relevant.

Moscow has publicly dismissed European proposals as empty and lacking substance, and out of this frustration, Europe is now pushing back by sabotaging agreements (like using intermediaries) because it cannot secure a real role.

Europe’s declarations of wanting peace talks are mostly for show, because Europe has little actual influence in negotiations about Ukraine - and its current diplomatic manoeuvring is a reaction to being left out of real power discussions.

Prayers are needed to grant “wisdom and prudence” to Roskomnadzor officials following the slowdown of Telegram, said Archpriest Alexander Mikushin, rector of the Iveron Church.

He also stated that for many people the messenger has become not just a means of communication, but a platform for prayer and spiritual interaction, a kind of bridge between individuals and the Church.
