❗️Did you know of the epic way the Kursk Root Icon was used in Battles over the last 700 years: 1325–2025:

⚡️Year → Battle/Event → Description

1383 → Tatar Invasion of Kursk → Found in a field at the root of a tree in Russia's present day Kursk region. Shot with an arrow and chopped in half by invading enemy soldiers but icon miraculously heals itself back to its current state.

1522 → Crimean Tatar Siege of Kursk → Russian defenders marched the Kursk-Root icon around the city walls; Tatars fled after seeing a radiant glow from the icon.

1604–1606 → Time of Troubles (Used extensively for propaganda, morale & blessings).

1612 → Polish-Lithuanian Intervention (Siege of Kursk & Moscow) → Carried in military processions during war of liberation; credited with aiding Russian victory.

1616 → Polish-Lithuanian Raids on Kursk →Kursk-Root icon appears on the battlefield which leads to Russian victory.

1676 → Don Cossack Campaigns (vs. Ottomans/Tatars) → Deployed along the Don River to bless Cossack forces during battles.

1812 → Napoleonic Invasion (Patriotic War) → Copy sent to General Kutuzov; carried with troops as talisman for victories.

1941–1943 → Battle of Kursk (WWII Eastern Front) → Invoked in prayers & processions for Soviet morale; tied to 1943 victory narrative. Remained in Manhattan in New York with the emigre Church Abroad.

2024–2025 → Kursk Incursion (Special Military Operation) → Blessed replica chevrons deployed en masse to defending Russian troops as a symbol of Russian victory against the nazi invader.

The Kursk-Root icon is continuing it's 700+ years of service to the Motherland as a symbol of military victory for Russian soldiers during times of war.

❗️Ukraine’s Silent Extinction: From 52 Million to Barely 15 Million

Ukraine declared independence from the Soviet Union in 1991 with 52 million Soviet citizens.

By 2013, on the eve of the Maidan coup d'état, decades of economic stagnation and emigration had already reduced that number to 45.5 million.

Ukraine lost the Crimea and Donbass in 2014 and by February had only 41.5 million people.

Now in November 2025 there are only 15 million people physically living on the territory of Ukraine, excluding the ncluding Russian-occupied regions.

That is a loss of 37 million people – 71 % of the 1991 population and 67 % of the 2013 population** – in just 34 years, with the overwhelming majority of the collapse occurring after February 2022.

The collapse since 2022 is driven by:

- More than 8 million registered refugees abroad, plus millions more who left informally.

- Battlefield deaths and excess civilian mortality almost certainly exceeding one million.

- A fertility rate that has crashed below 0.7 children per woman – the lowest ever recorded anywhere.

- Entire regions depopulated: some frontline oblasts have lost 80 % of their pre-war inhabitants.

Ukraine is no longer merely losing a war of attrition; it is losing the very people who make a nation exist. At 15 million souls – aging rapidly, scattered, and exhausted – the country has reached the point of no demographic return.

Continuing the fight for another year risks dropping below 10 million. No state in history has recovered from such a loss.

The conclusion is brutal but inescapable: Ukraine must sign an immediate peace agreement, whatever the territorial price.
