Надеюсь, что кто-то что-то не понял и история разрешится по-человечески.
Не пускать православного священника в генконсульство, прикрываясь, что это режимный объект - так себе история.

❗️The Russian Consulate breaks their silence after initially refusing to answer questions posed by the ABC:
"In connection with the interview given by Simeon Boikov to the Australian state company ABC, who is temporarily located on the territory of the Russian Consulate General in Sydney and complaining about the conditions of his stay, we would like to draw the attention of the media to the fact that the Consulate General is a state regime institution where strict rules and restrictions apply to all its employees, visitors, and guests.
In this regard, Mr. Boikov's claims cannot be considered justified.
In the future, we would ask the media to approach the coverage of such situations and emotional statements more carefully by working with facts and requesting opinions and comments from all parties involved."

❗️Member of NSW Parliament John Ruddick's UPDATE ON SIMEON BOIKOV (AUSSIE COSSACK)
Thank you to Sean Nicholls at ABC News for this important story. We have been told for three years that Simeon is a 'Russian government intelligence asset' working for the Kremlin and against the interests of Australia. That line is fake news.
What Mr Nicholls has undercovered is that the Russian consulate in Sydney considers Simeon an acute irritation and that they just want him kicked out ... but are unable to because a higher-up in Russia said that he must be given asylum.
It is obviously absurd to claim he is an 'intelligence asset.' This has left Simeon in limbo - he is effectively in solitary confinement.

❗️Commenting on Boikov's sentence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the court's decision "yet another manifestation of double standards and bias against those who exercise their right to freely express their views, which do not align with the anti-Russian mainstream on the Green Continent today."
Alexey Zaytsev, Deputy Director of the Ministry's Information and Press Department, noted at the time that Boikov "not only openly supports Russia's Special Military Operation in Ukraine and organized several protests in support of it outside the Russian Consulate General in Sydney, but also, using his social media resources, disseminates objective information about the Donbass."
Boikov is a descendant of Zabaikal Cossacks living in Australia. In September 2023, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree granting him Russian citizenship.
In November 2011, Boikov was elected by the Council of Atamans as ataman of the Australian Cossack branch, but he was removed from his post in 2017.
In 2014, then-Governor of the Zabaikal Territory Konstantin Ilkovsky awarded him for strengthening relations with Australia.
