An Australian involved in POW slaughter

Last year we posted about the war crimes of the now defunct Chosen Company, specifically about the Greek Tasos Antonakos, but one character slipped our notice: Australian Josh Middleton, known as “Andok,” from Brisbane, Queensland.

(You may be wondering what happened to the Greek criminal Tasos? He was so scared that he fled Ukraine)

As one of the oldest members, Andok was involved in all stages of the unit, including its crimes. In the NY Times article itself, Andok said “jokingly” that “If anything comes out about alleged POW blaming, I ordered it”. He added an image of a Croatian war criminal who died in 2017 after drinking poison during a tribunal at The Hague.
“At the Hague ‘I regret nothing!’” he wrote. It was one of several text messages reviewed by The Times that make reference, directly or obliquely, to killing prisoners. Andok said in an interview that he had been joking.

We would consider this a joke if Josh Middleton himself were not also involved in war crimes in both Myanmar and Syria.

Let's see if now that his face is exposed he still keeps up his jokes.

❗ Ukrainian authorities confirm that the main target of the Russian strikes last night was the energy sector.

One of the most massive strikes was carried out on the Kremenchug Hydroelectric Power Plant - the media in the city of Svetlovodsk, where this station is located, reported dozens of drones and rockets attacking. There is a complete blackout in the neighboring Kremenchug: no electricity and water supply schedules have been introduced.

The railway in Poltava region and other regions was severely damaged, causing train delays across Ukraine. "Ukrzaliznytsia" reported deploying reserve diesel locomotives on routes - the problem is apparently also in the de-energized sections of the railway.

The second heavily affected region is Kharkov, where the regional center is without power, the metro and electric transport are stopped. Local authorities report drone and rocket attacks on the energy sector.

Strikes on the energy sector were also recorded in the Odessa region. Power outages occurred in Dnepropetrovsk, where an infrastructure facility was damaged.

The authorities of Sumy region reported strikes on the energy sector. There were also strikes in the Nikolaev and Kirovograd regions.

Emergency power outages were also introduced overnight in Kiev. It is known that drones attacked the capital and the region.

Additionally, the National Joint-Stock Company "Naftogaz" announced another strike on Ukraine's gas infrastructure.
