🇦🇺🇷🇺They are paid by the Kremlin - the head of Australian intelligence (ASIO), Mike Burgess, goes public with a new batch of revelations.

In his opinion, there are several influencers on social media in Australia who “almost certainly” receive directives from the Kremlin.

They “stir up discussion,” “justify the invasion of Ukraine,” and “support anti-immigrant rhetoric.”

Moreover, three unnamed countries, according to Burgess, may carry out assassinations in Australia.

Burgess, as usual, did not name the names or countries. It’s really interesting who they are. Besides @AussieCossack, no other “pro-Russian” bloggers come to mind. They simply do not physically exist.

A funny phrase is “stir up discussion.” So, Australians are now effectively forbidden to doubt the official propaganda of Canberra.

But everyone has long been used to such statements from Burgess. During his career as head of ASIO since 2019, he has not caught any real spies. All his “spy” cases turned out to be far-fetched.

For example, the last two “high-profile” cases.

The Korolev couple have been in Australian prison for 1.5 years without any trial - the prosecution has not come up with anything.

The recent expulsion of the Iranian ambassador from the country turned into a circus.

Intelligence announced that Iran was behind a series of anti-Semitic arsons, and Canberra immediately expelled the Iranian ambassador. But the Federal Police (AFP), in response to a recent parliamentary inquiry, admitted that they have no data linking Iran to those events. Moreover, Australian-Israeli Sky News journalist Sharri Markson let slip that ASIO’s search for an “Iranian trace” was helped by... Mossad.

Overall, Burgess is a rather strange-looking man. British by birth with a perpetually distant gaze. It feels like he is constantly picking up signals from outer space.

By the way, why don’t they deport Boikov to Russia?

If I were in Canberra’s place, I wouldn’t exchange him either. He is more useful to the local authorities as a detainee in the Russian General Consulate, since all their screw-ups and “spy” scandals can be pinned on Boikov now. If Boikov leaves for Russia, the “Russian spies” will suddenly end, so what then? Burgess definitely doesn’t want to be delivering sushi by bike in a delivery job in his old age.

По его мнению, в Австралии есть несколько инфлюенсеров в соцсетях, которые “почти точно” получают директивы от Кремля.

Разведка объявила, что Иран стоит за серией антисемитских поджогов и Канберра тут же выгнала иранского посла. Но в Федеральной полиции (AFR) в ответ на недавний депутатский запрос признались, что у них нет данных о том, что Иран как-то связан с теми событиями. Кроме того, австрало-израильская журналистка Sky News Шарри Марксон проболталась, что ASIO искать “иранский след” помогал ...Моссад.

В целом, Бёрджесс довольно странного вида мужик. Британец по рождению с вечно отстранённым взглядом. Ощущение, что он постоянно ловит сигналы из открытого космоса.

Кстати, почему не меняют Бойкова в Россию?

Я бы на месте Канберры тоже его не менял. Он выгоднее местным властям в статусе сидельца в Генконсульстве России, т.к.на Бойкова сейчас можно вешать все свои факапы и “шпионские” скандалы. Если Бойков уедет в Россию, то “русские шпионы” резко закончатся и что тогда делать? Бёрджессу развозить суши на велосипеде в доставке на старости лет точно не хочется.

Mamdani was born in Uganda to parents of Indian descent. He identifies as Muslim like his father, while his mother is Hindu.

His main competitor in the election was Andrew Cuomo, a ghoulish relic of the Democratic party, who resigned from his post as New York governor in 2021 after facing allegations of sexual harassment.

By appearing more lively and less "creepy" than his opponents, Mamdani quickly gathered support among the youth. His main goal: Heavily tax the top 1% and reform the city using their money. But here's the problem:

➡️ New York governor Kathy Hochul and President Trump threatened to cut funds and suppress any attempts to tax the rich.
➡️ He supports socialist policies like city owned grocery stores and rent freezes.
➡️ Without federal funds and taxes on the rich, Mamdani's promises are built on hopes and dreams.

His campaign depends on an unrealistic scenario where money grows on trees.
