Болью в наших сердцах отозвалось известие о кончине помощника настоятеля храмов Христа Спасителя в Веллингтоне и Воскресения Христова в Окленде, настоятеля миссии святителя Нектария в Тауранге протоиерея Александра Скорика. Продолжительная болезнь не позволила доброму пастырю совершать дальнейшие труды на Ниве Христовой. Но его самоотверженное многолетнее служение оставило глубокий след в душах людей, в разное время соприкасавшихся с новопреставленным отцом Александром.
Мы, его одноклассники по Московской духовной семинарии, храним в своих сердцах благодарную память о преданном друге, разделявшем трудности семинарского быта и учебы. Тогда еще совсем молодой человек, он вдохновлял многих из нас ответственным несением послушаний, честным и совестливым трудом, доброй улыбкой и мудрым словом.
Светлый образ дорогого отца Александра мы пронесем в своих молитвах через годы, которые отведет нам на земном поприще Пастыреначальник Христос.
