قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
"تَحَرَّوْا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْوِتْرِ مِنَ الْعَشْرِ الأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ."
رواه البخاري ومسلم.
الوتر = الليالي الفردية.
The Prophet (PBUH) said:
"Seek out Al-Qadr night in the odd nights during the last ten nights of Ramadan."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
[ رُبَّ صَائِمٍ لَيْسَ لَهُ مِنْ صِيَامِهِ إِلَّا الْجُوعُ ، وَرُبَّ قَائِمٍ لَيْسَ لَهُ مِنْ قِيَامِهِ إِلَّا السَّهَرُ. ]
حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ رَوَاهُ ابنُ مَاجَه.
The prophet (bpuh) said,
“Some people fast and get nothing from their fasting but hunger, and some people pray (qiyam-ul-lail) and get nothing from their prayer but staying awake.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
"الصَّلَوَاتُ الْخَمْسُ ، وَالْجُمْعَةُ إِلَى الْجُمْعَةِ ، وَرَمَضَانُ إِلَى رَمَضَانَ ، مُكَفِّرَاتٌ مَا بَيْنَهُنَّ إِذَا اجْتَنَبَ الْكَبَائِرَ."
رواه مسلم.
The Prophet (PBUH) said:
"The five (daily) prayers, Friday (prayer) to Friday, and (fasting) Ramadan to Ramadan are expiations for the sins committed in between, as long as the major sins are avoided."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
"إنَّه من قام مع الإمامِ حتَّى ينصرِفَ كُتِب له قيامُ ليلةٍ."
حديث صحيح رواه ابو داود.
The Prophet (PBUH) said:
"Whoever prays (qiyam-ul-layl) with the imam until he finishes, it will be recorded that he prayed (qiyam-ul-layl) a whole night."
Narrated by Abu Dawood.
NB: Qiyam-ul-layl is a voluntary prayer performed in the time between Al Ishaa and Al Fajr prayers.

سُئل رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ عنِ الصّيامْ فيّ السَفر فَقَال:
"هِيَ رُخْصَةٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ ، فَمَنْ أَخَذَ بِهَا فَحَسَنٌ ، وَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَصُومَ ، فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ."
رواه البخاري ومسلم.
The Prophet PBUH was asked about fasting during travelling, then he replied:
"It is a concession from Allah. Whoever takes advantage of it, he has done well, and whoever wants to fast, there is no blame upon him."

"مَنْ فَطَّرَ صَائِمًا ، كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ ، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِ الصَّائِمِ شَيْئًا."

The Prophet (PBUH) said:
"He who provides food for a fasting person to break his fast with, will earn the same reward of the fasting person without decreasing the reward of the latter."

"People will remain well as long as they do not delay breaking the fast."

{ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى تَمْرٍ فَإِنَّهُ بَرَكَةٌ ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ تَمْرًا فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى مَاءٍ فَإِنَّهُ طَهُورٌ. }
رواه الترمذي.
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"If anyone of you wants to break the fast, let him do it by having dates, for they are blessed. If he doesn't have any, then let him break the fast with water, for it is pure."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
[ الشُّهَدَاءُ خَمْسَةٌ الْمَطْعُونُ ، وَالْمَبْطُونُ ، وَالْغَرِقُ وَصَاحِبُ الْهَدْمِ ، وَالشَّهِيدُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ. ]
رَوَاهُ البُخَاريُ و مُسْلِم.
المَطعونُ = الَّذي يَموتُ في الطَّاعونِ.
المَبطونُ = مَن مات بِداءِ البَطْنِ.
صاحِبُ الهَدْمِ = الَّذي ماتَ تَحتَ الهَدْمِ.
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"There are five types of martyr:
one who dies of plague, one who dies of abdominal disease, one who is drowned, one who is killed by falling building on him, and the martyr in Allah’s path."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
( صُومُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ ، وَأَفْطِرُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ ، فَإِنْ غُبِّيَ عَلَيْكُمْ فَأَكْمِلُوا عِدَّةَ شَعْبَانَ ثَلاَثِينَ. )
رواه البخاري.
لِرُؤيَتِهِ = لرؤية الهلال.
غُبِّيَ = خَفِيَ هلالُ رمضانَ.
The Prophet (PBUH) Said,
"Start fasting on seeing it (the crescent of Ramadan), and stop fasting on seeing it (the crescent of Shawwal). If it is not visible (because the sky is overcast), then complete the month of Sha'ban to thirty days."
Narrated by Al-Bukhari.

[ مَا مِنْ مُؤْمِنٍ يُعَزِّي أَخَاهُ بِمُصِيبَةٍ إِلَّا كَسَاهُ اللَّهُ سُبْحَانَهُ مِنْ حُلَلِ الْكَرَامَةِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ. ]
حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ رَوَاه ابن ماجه.
يُعَزِّي أَخَاهُ = يأمره بالصبر
The Prophet ( PBUH ) said,
"Any believer who consoles his brother for a calamity, Allah the Almighty will clothe him of the garments of honor on the Day of Resurrection."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ :
{ صَوْمُ شَهْرِ الصَّبْرِ ،
وَثَلَاثَةِ أيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ ،
يُذْهِبْنَ وَحَرَ الصَّدْرِ }.
حديث صحيح رواه البزار.
شَهْرِ الصَّبْرِ = رمضان
وَحَرَ الصَّدْرِ = غله و وساوسه.
The Prophet (PBUH) said:
"Fasting the month of patience (Ramadan) and three days every month takes away impurity from one's heart."

📝Notes: Scholars have encouraged to double the reward by combining the intention of fasting six days of Shawal with the white days and the days of Monday and Thursday.

[ مَا لعَبدِي الْمُؤْمِنِ عِنْدِي جَزَاءٌ إِذَا قَبَضْتُ صَفِيَّهُ مِنْ أهْلِ الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ احْتَسَبَهُ إِلَّا الْجَنَّةَ. ]
رَوَاهُ البُخَارِي.
صَفِيَّهُ = الحبيب المصافي،
كالولد والأخ والصديق.
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) narrated, Allah (glorified and exalted be He) said:
"I have nothing to give but Paradise as a reward to my believer slave, who, if I cause his dear friend (or relative) to die, remains patient (and hopes for Allah's Reward)."

عن عبد الله بن عمر رضي الله عنهما قال:
"كانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعْتَكِفُ الْعَشْرَ الأوَاخِرَ مِنْ رَمضَان."
رواه البخاري
Abdullah Bin Omar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:
"Allah's Messenger (PBUH) used to practice i'tikaf in the last ten days of the month of Ramadan."
Narrated by Al Bukhary.
Note: i'tikaf is staying in a masjid devoting oneself to worshipping Allah and staying away from worldly affairs.

( من لم يدعْ قول الزّورِ والعملَ بِهِ
فليْسَ لله حاجةٌ في أن يدعَ طعامهُ وشرابهُ )
رواه البخاريُّ .
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
( Whoever does not give up forged speech and evil actions, Allah is not in need of his leaving his food and drink (i.e. Allah will not accept his fasting.)

"الصِّيامُ جُنَّةٌ ، فإِذَا كان يومُ صِيامِ أَحَدِكُمْ فلا يَرْفُثْ ، ولا يَصْخَبْ ، فإنْ سابَهُ أحدٌ أوْ قاتَلهُ فَلْيَقُلْ: إِنِي صائِمٌ ، إِنِي صائِمٌ."
رواه البخاري ومسلم.
جُنَّةٌ = وِقايةٌ وحِصنٌ حَصينٌ مِن النارِ.
الرَّفَثُ = وهو الفُحشُ في الكَلامِ .
الصَّخَبُ = الصِّياحُ والخِصامُ .
The Prophet (PBUH) said:
"Fasting is a protector (from hellfire). When one of you is fasting on a day, he should neither indulge in obscene language nor should he raise his voice in anger, and if anybody insults or quarrels with him, he should say, 'I am fasting, I am fasting.'"

( الصِّيَامُ وَالْقُرْآنُ يَشْفَعَانِ لِلْعَبْدِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، يَقُولُ الصِّيَامُ: أَيْ رَبِّ مَنَعْتُهُ الطَّعَامَ وَالشَّهَوَاتِ بِالنَّهَارِ فَشَفِّعْنِي فِيهِ ، وَيَقُولُ: الْقُرْآنُ مَنَعْتُهُ النَّوْمَ بِاللَّيْلِ فَشَفِّعْنِي فِيهِ ، قَالَ : فَيُشَفَّعَانِ. )
حديث صحيح رواه أحمد.
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"Fasting and the Quran intercede for man (on the Day of Judgment). Fasting says, 'O Allah, I have deprived him of food and passions during the day, so accept my intercession for him.' The Quran says, 'I have deprived him of sleep at night, so accept my intercession for him.' So Allah accepts their intercessions."

( من نسِيَ وهو صائمٌ ، فأكلَ أو شرِبَ ، فليُتمَّ صومَهُ
فإنَّما أطعمَهُ اللهُ وسقاهُ. )
مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيهِ ( رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيْ و مًسلِمٌ ).
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"Whoever forgets that he/she is fasting and eats or drinks,
he/she completes his/her fasting as it was Allah who fed or gave him/her water to drink."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
( إِنَّ للهِ عُتَقَاءَ في كُلِّ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ ، - يعني في رمضان - لِكُلِّ عَبْدٍ مِنْهُمْ دَعْوَةٌ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ. )
حديث صحيح رواه أحمد.
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"Allah has servants whom He releases from hellfire every day and night (in Ramadan). Each one of them has an unrejected prayer."

" السُّحُورُ أَكْلَةٌ بَرَكَةٌ فَلا تَدَعُوهُ وَلَوْ أَنْ يَجْرَعَ أَحَدُكُمْ جَرْعَةً مِنْ مَاءٍ فَإِنَّ اللهَ وَمَلائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى الْمُتَسَحِّرِينَ "
رواه أحمد.
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"Suhoor is a blessed meal, so do not leave it, even if you have a sip of water, as Allah and his angels send blessings on those who have Suhoor."

{ مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ. }

إيمانآ = معتقدآ بفرضيته.
إحتسابآ = طالبآ للأجر و الثواب من الله.
The prophet (PBUH) said,
"Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and hope for reward, his past sins will be forgiven."

[ إنّ المعونةَ تأتي من اللهِ للعبدِ على قدرِ المؤْنةِ ، و إنّ الصبرَ يأتي من اللهِ على قدرِ المصيبةِ. ]
حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ رَوَاهُ البزار.
المُؤْنةِ = الشِّدَّةُ والتَّعبُ.
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"Aid comes from Allah to the servant according to the amount of hardship, and patience comes from Allah according to the calamity."

عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بنِ عُبْيدِ اللَّهِ رضِيَ اللَّه عَنْهُ قال :
كان النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم إذا رأى الهلال قال :
{ اللَّهُمَّ أَهِلَّهُ علَيْنَا بِالأَمْنِ والإِيمَانِ ، وَالسَّلامَةِ والإِسْلامِ ، رَبِّي ورَبُّكَ اللَّه ، هِلالُ رُشْدٍ وخَيْرٍ. }
حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ رَوَاهُ أحمَد
Talha bin Obaydullah (may Allah be pleased with him ) said,
Upon seeing the crescent of a new month, the Prophet (PBUH) used to supplicate:
"O Allah, let this crescent come out with security, faith, safety and Islam.
(O crescent!) Your Lord and mine is Allah. May this crescent be one of guidance and good."

عَن سَهْلِ بْنَ سَعْدٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:
[ أَنَا وَكَافِلُ الْيَتِيمِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ هَكَذَا ].
وَقَالَ بِإِصْبَعَيْهِ السَّبَّابَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى.
رَوَاهُ البُخارِي.
Sahl Ben Saad (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (PBUH) said,
"I and the guardian of the orphan will be in Paradise like that,"
indicating his index and middle finger.

( لاَ يَتَقَدَّمَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ رَمَضَانَ بِصَوْمِ يَوْمٍ أَوْ يَوْمَيْنِ ، إِلاَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ رَجُلٌ كَانَ يَصُومُ صَوْمَهُ فَلْيَصُمْ ذلِكَ الْيَوْمَ. )
رواه البخاري.
The Prophet (PBUH) Said,
"None of you should fast a day or two before the month of Ramadan unless it is a day that he usually fasts, then let him fast that day."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
( مَنِ اغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ أَتَى الْجُمُعَةَ فَصَلَّى مَا قُدِّرَ لَهُ ، ثُمَّ أَنْصَتَ حَتَّى يَفْرُغَ اﻹمام مِنْ خُطْبَتِهِ ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي مَعَهُ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجُمُعَةِ الْأُخْرَى وَفَضْلُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ ).
رواه مسلم.
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"however took a bath and then came for the Friday prayer and then prayed what was destined for him, then kept silent listening till the preacher finished the sermon, and then prayed along with him, his sins between that time and the next Friday would be forgiven, and even of three days more."
Narrated by Muslim.

{ أَحَبُّ الأَعْمَالِ إِلَى اللهِ سُرُورٌ تُدْخِلُهُ عَلَى مُسْلِمٍ ، أَوْ تَكْشِفُ عَنْهُ كُرْبَةً ، أَوْ تَقْضِي عَنْهُ دَيْنًا ، أَوْ تَطْرُدُ عَنْهُ جُوعًا. }
حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ رَوَاهُ الطبراني.
The Prophet ( PBUH ) said,
"The most beloved of deeds to Allah is pleasure you bring to a Muslim, Or a calamity you remove off him, Or a debt you pay for him, Or a hunger you expel away from him."
Narrated by Tabarani.

( مَنْ دَعَا لأَخِيهِ بِظَهْرِ الْغَيْبِ ، قَالَ الْمَلَكُ الْمُوَكَّلُ بِهِ: آمِينَ ، وَلَكَ بِمِثْل )

The Prophet ( PBUH ) said,
( He who supplicates for his brother in his absence, The Angel appointed for this particular task says: Amen, and the same for you also. )
