قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
مَنْ فَطَّرَ صَائِمًا كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ
غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِ الصَّائِمِ شَيْئًا
رواه الترمذي.
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"He who provides food for a fasting person to break his fast with,
will earn the same reward as the one who was observing the fast,
without diminishing in any way the reward of the latter."
Narrated by At-Tirmidhi.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
( إِنَّ للهِ عُتَقَاءَ في كُلِّ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ،
- يعني في رمضان -
لِكُلِّ عَبْدٍ مِنْهُمْ دَعْوَةٌ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ ).
حديث صحيح رواه أحمد.
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"Everyday and night God releases alot of His slaves from hell- fire and each slave has a fulfilled granted prayer."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
" السُّحُورُ أَكْلَةٌ بَرَكَةٌ فَلا تَدَعُوهُ
وَلَوْ أَنْ يَجْرَعَ أَحَدُكُمْ جَرْعَةً مِنْ مَاءٍ
فَإِنَّ اللهَ وَمَلائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى الْمُتَسَحِّرِينَ "
رواه أحمد.
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"The Suhoor is a meal of blessings,
so do not leave it,
even if one of you just takes a gulp of water,
since Allah sends mercy and His angels seek forgiveness for those who take Suhoor."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
( صُومُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ ، وَأَفْطِرُوا لِرُؤيَتِهِ ،
فإِن عُميَ عَليكم ، فَأَكْمِلُوا عِدَّةَ شَعْبانَ ثَلاثينَ )
رواه البخاري .
لِرُؤيَتِهِ = لرؤية الهلال.
The Prophet (PBUH) Said,
Observe Fasting on sighting the crescent and terminate it on sighting it,
but if it was hidden from you (due to weather),
then complete the month of Shaa'ban to thirty (days)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ :
{ هُدِينَا إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ ، وَأَضَلَّ اللهُ عَنْهَا مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَنَا }.
رَوَاهُ مسلم.
The Prophet (PBUH) said:
"We were guided aright to Friday (as a day of prayer and supplication), and Allah diverted those who were before us away from it."
Narrated by Muslim.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَليهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
[إِذَا جَمَعَ اللَّهُ الأَوَّلِينَ وَالآخِرِينَ لِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، لِيَوْمٍ لاَ رَيْبَ فِيهِ، نَادَى مُنَادٍ: مَنْ كَانَ أَشْرَكَ فِي عَمَلٍ عَمَلَهُ لِلَّهِ فَلْيَطْلُبْ ثَوَابَهُ مِنْ عِنْدِ غَيْرِ اللَّهِ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ أَغْنَى الشُّرَكَاءِ عَنِ الشِّرْكِ].
حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ رَواهُ ابنُ ماجَه.
The Prophet (PBUH) said:
“When Allah gathers the former and the latter peoples on the Day of Resurrection, a day about which there is no doubt, a caller will call: ‘Whoever associated anyone else in an action that he did for Allah, let him seek his reward from someone other than Allah, for Allah is self-sufficient that He has no need of any associate.”
Narrated by Ibn Majah.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَليهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ :
( أَسْعَدُ النَّاسِ بِشَفَاعَتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَنْ قَالَ: لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ خَالِصَاً مِنْ قَلْبِهِ أَوْ نَفْسِهِ ).
رَواهُ البُخَارِيّ.
Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said:
"The happiest person who will have my intercession on the Day of Resurrection will be the one who said, 'There is no God but Allah,' sincerely from the bottom of his heart."
Narrated by Al Bukhari.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَليهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ :
( إِنَّمَا الأَعْمَالُ بالنِّيَّاتِ و إِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ ما نَوَى ، فَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلى اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ،
وَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ لِدُنْيَا يُصِيبُهَا أَو امْرَأَةٍ يَنْكِحُهَا ، فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى مَا هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهِ ) .
رَواهُ البُخَارِيّ و مُسلِم
The Prophet (PBUH) said:
"Deeds are to be judged only by intentions and everyone will have only what he intends. When one’s emigration is to Allah and His Messenger, his emigration will be to Allah and His Messenger, and when his emigration is to a worldly gain or a woman to marry, his emigration will be to that for which he emigrated."
Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
"إِذَا انْتَصَفَ شَعْبَانُ فَلا تَصُومُوا."
حديث صحيح رواه أبو داود.
The Abhorrence of Starting to Fast after the Middle of Sha'ban
The Prophet (PBUH) said:
"When it is the middle of Sha'ban, do not fast (until it is Ramadan)."
Narrated by Abu Dawud.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
[ فَضْلُ عَائِشَةَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ
كَفَضْلِ الثَّرِيدِ عَلَى سَائِرِ الطَّعَامِ ].
رَوَاهُ البُخَاريُ و مُسْلِم.
الثَّريدُ = الخبزُ المكسَّرُ الَّذي عليه اللَّحمُ والمرَقُ.
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:
"The superiority of 'Aisha to other women is like the superiority of Tharid to other kinds of food."
Narrated by Al Bukhari and Muslim.
tharid = a meal of bread, meat and soup.

عَنْ البَراءِ بنِ عَازِب - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - قال :
أُهْدِيَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حُلَّةُ حَرِيرٍ ، فَجَعَلَ أَصْحَابُهُ يَلْمُسُونَهَا وَيَعْجَبُونَ مِنْ لِينِهَا فَقَالَ:
أَتَعْجَبُونَ مِنْ لِينِ هَذِهِ ؟
لَمَنَادِيلُ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِنْهَا وَأَلْيَنُ .
رَوَاهُ مُسلِم.
Al Bara' Bin Azeb reported that a garment of silk was presented to Allah's Messenger (PBUH). His Companions touched it and admired its softness; thereupon he said:
"Do you admire the softness of this (cloth)? The handkerchiefs of Sa'd Bin Mu'ath in Paradise are better and softer than this."

سئلت أم المؤمنين عائشةَ رضي اللهُ عنها عن صيامِ رسولِ اللهِ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ في شعبان فقالت :
( كان يصومُ حتى نقول : قد صام .
ويفطر حتى نقول : قد أفطر .
ولم أرَه صائمًامن شهرٍ قطُّ أكثرَ من صيامِه من شعبانَ .
كان يصومُ شعبانَ كلَّه . كان يصومُ شعبانَ إلا قليلًا ) .
رواه مسلم .
A'isha the mother of the believers ( may Allah be pleased with her) was asked about the fasting of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) during Shaa'ban.
She said,
[ He used to fast so continuously that we said, He has fasted (never to break), and he did not fast till we said, He will not fast, and I never saw him fasting more in any other month than that of Shaban. He used to fast the whole of Shaa'ban. He used to fast the whole of Shaa'ban except a few days. ]

عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ- رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنهُ - قَالَ:
خَلَّفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ،
فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ تُخَلِّفُنِي فِي النِّسَاءِ وَالْصِّبْيَانِ؟
فَقَالَ: أَمَا تَرْضَى أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى؟ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لاَ نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي.
رَوَاهُ البُخَاريُ و مُسْلِم.
Sa'd Bin Abi Waqqas reported:
"At the time of Tabuk Foray, Allah's Messenger (PBUH) appointed Ali Bin Abi Taleb as his deputy.
Ali said: 'Allah's Messenger, do you want to leave me amongst women and children?'
The Prophet (PBUH) said: 'Will it not please you that you are to me like Aaron was to Moses? But with the exception that there will be no prophet after me.'"

عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - قَالَ:
جاءَ عُثمانُ بنُ عَفَّانَ إلى النَّبيِّ صلَّى اللهُ عليهِ وسَلَّمَ بِألْفِ دينارٍ في ثَوبِهِ، حينَ جَهَّزَ النَّبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليهِ وسَلَّمَ جَيشَ العُسرَةِ، قالَ: فصَبَّها في حِجْرِ النَّبيِّ صلَّى اللهُ عليهِ وسَلَّمَ، فجَعَلَ النَّبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليهِ وسَلَّمَ، يُقَلِّبُها بِيَدِهِ، وَيَقولُ: [ ما ضَرَّ ابنَ عَفَّانَ ما عَمِلَ بَعدَ اليَومِ ] - يُرَدِّدُها مِرارًا.
حَدِيثُ حَسَنٌ رَوَاهُ أحمد.
جَيشَ العُسرَةِ = جيش غزوة تبوك.
Abdur-Rahman Bin Samurah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
"Othman Bin Affan came to the Prophet (PBUH) with one thousand dinars in his garment when the 'army of distress' was being prepared and he poured them into the Prophet's lap. While the Prophet (PBUH) was turning them over in his lap, he said: 'No matter what Ibn Affan does after today, it won't do him any harm.' and he repeated it a few times."
Hadith Hasan narrated by Ahmad.
The army of distress is the army of Tabook Foray.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ :
إِيهًا يَا ابْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ؛
وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ مَا لَقِيَكَ الشَّيْطَانُ سَالِكًا فَجًّا قَطُّ
إِلاَّ سَلَكَ فَجًّا غَيْرَ فَجِّكَ .
رَوَاهُ البُخَاريُ .
إِيهًا = كلمة تُقالُ للإعجاب بشخص ما.
فَجًّا = طريقاً.
The Prophet (PBUH) said:
"O Ibn Al-Khattab! By Him Who has my soul in His Hands, wherever Satan sees you going on a path, he goes on a path other than yours!"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
{ والَّذِي نَفْسُ محمدٍ بِيَدهِ لخَلُوفُ فمِ الصَّائم
أطيبُ عند الله مِن ريح المسك،
لِلصائمِ فَرْحَتَانِ يَفْرَحُهما؛
إِذَا أفْطَرَ فرحَ بِفطْرهِ،
وإِذَا لَقِي ربَّه فرح بصومِهِ }
رواه مسلم.
خلوف الفم = رائحة فم الصائم.
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
( I swear by God whose Muhammad 's soul is in his Hand,
the smell of the fasting person's mouth is better for God than the fragrance of musk.
The fasting person has two pleasures
one when he breaks his fasting, and when he meets his God he'll be pleased beacuse of his fasting.)

عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بنِ عُبْيدِ اللَّهِ رضِيَ اللَّه عَنْهُ قال :
كان النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم إذا رأى الهلال قال :
{ اللَّهُمَّ أَهِلَّهُ علَيْنَا بِالأَمْنِ والإِيمَانِ ،
وَالسَّلامَةِ والإِسْلامِ ،
رَبِّي ورَبُّكَ اللَّه ،
هِلالُ رُشْدٍ وخَيْرٍ }.
حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ رَوَاهُ أحمَد.
Talha bin Obaydullah (may Allah be pleased with him ) said,
Upon seeing the crescent of a new month, the Prophet (PBUH) used to supplicate:
"O Allah, let this crescent come out with security, faith, safety and Islam.
(O crescent!) Your Lord and mine is Allah. May this crescent be one of guidance and good."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَليهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
( ثَلاَثٌ لاَ يُغَلُّ عَلَيْهِنَّ قَلْبُ مُسْلِمٍ:
إِخْلاَصُ الْعَمَلِ لِلَّهِ ، وَمُنَاصَحَةُ أَئِمَّةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ، وَلُزُومِ جَمَاعَتِهِمْ ).
حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ رَوَاهُ التِّرمِذي.
لَا يُغِلُّ عَلَيْهِنَّ = لا يبقى في قلبه غل ولا غش ولا حقد.
The Prophet ( PBUH ) said:
"Three things help to clear a Muslim's heart from hatred and betrayal: sincerity of actions for Allah, advising the Muslims' rulers, and commitment to the Jama'ah (main body of the Muslims)."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَليهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
( لَنْ يُوَافِيَ عَبْدٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَقُولُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ ،
يَبْتَغِي بِهِ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ ،
إِلاَّ حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ النَّارَ).
رَواهُ البُخَارِيّ.
The Prophet (PBUH) said:
"Every servant, who used to say: 'There is no God but Allah', seeking Allah’s pleasure, will be secured from the hellfire on the Day of Resurrection."
Narrated by Bukhari.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَليهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ :
( إِنَّ اللهَ لا يَنْظُرُ إِلَى صُوَرِكُمْ وَأَمْوَالِكُمْ، وَلَكِنْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى قُلُوبِكُمْ وَأَعْمَالِكُمْ ).
رَواهُ مُسلِم.
The Prophet ( PBUH ) said:
"Allah does not look at your figures or your wealth, but He looks at your hearts and your deeds."
Narrated by Muslim.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَليهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
قال اللهُ تبارك وتعالى :
(أَنَا أَغْنَىَ الشّرَكَاءِ عَنِ الشّرْكِ. مَنْ عَمِلَ عَمَلاً أَشْرَكَ فِيهِ مَعِي غَيْرِي، تَرَكْتُهُ وَشِرْكَهُ).
رَواهُ مُسلِم.
Allah's Messenger (PBUH) stated that Allah the Most High and Exalted said:
"I am self-sufficient that I am in no need of having a partner. Thus, he who does an action for the sake of someone else beside Me, I abandon him with the one whom he associates with Me.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَليهِ وَ آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
[ إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمُ الْجُمُعَةَ
فَلْيُصَلِّ بَعْدَهَا أَرْبَعًا ]
رواه مسلم.

"If anyone of you performs the Friday prayer,
he should perform four Rak`ah(Sunnah)afther it.''

"يَا فَاطِمَةُ أَلاَ تَرضَيْنَ أَنْ تَكُونِي سَيِّدَةَ نِسَاءِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَوْ سَيِّدَةَ نِسَاءِ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ."
رَوَاهُ البُخَاريُ و مُسْلِم.
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:
"O Fatima! Wouldn’t you be satisfied to be superior to the believing women or superior to the women of this nation?"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَ صَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ :
[ بَشِّرُوا خَدِيجَةَ بِبَيْتٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مِنْ قَصَبٍ لاَ صَخَبَ فِيهِ وَلاَ نَصَبَ ].
رَوَاهُ البُخَاريُ.
مِنْ قَصَبٍ = مِن لُؤلؤٍ مُجوَّفٍ ويَاقوتٍ.
لا صخَبَ فيه ولا نَصَبَ = لا صِياحَ فيه، ولا تَعَبَ.
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:
"Give Khadija glad tidings of a house of Kasab in Paradise wherein there is no noise and no toil."
Narrated by Al Bukhari.
Kasab = (hollow pearls and ruby)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ :
اسْتَقْرِئُوا الْقُرْآنَ مِنْ أَرْبَعَةٍ، مِنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، وَسَالِمٍ مَوْلَى أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ، وَأُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، وَمُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ .
رَوَاهُ البُخَاريُ و مُسْلِم.
اسْتَقْرِئُوا الْقُرْآنَ = خُذوه من هؤلاء الأربعة.
The Prophet (PBUH) said:
"Learn the recitation of the Qur'an from (any of these) four: Abdullah Bin Mas'ud, Salim Mawla Abu Hudhaifa, Ubai Bin Ka'b, and Mu'ath Bin Jabal."

عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنُ سَعْدٍ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنهُ - أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ:
[ لأُعْطِيَنَّ هَذِهِ الرَّايَةَ رَجُلاً يَفْتَحُ اللَّهُ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ ، يُحِبُّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ، وَيُحِبُّهُ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ ].
قَالَ : فَبَاتَ النَّاسُ يَدُوكُونَ لَيْلَتَهُمْ أَيُّهُمْ يُعْطَاهَا- قَالَ- فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ النَّاسُ غَدَوْا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُلُّهُمْ يَرْجُونَ أَنْ يُعْطَاهَا ،
فَقَالَ: [ أَيْنَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؟].
رَوَاهُ البُخَاريُ و مُسْلِم ( و اللفظ لمسلم ).
يَدُوكُونَ لَيْلَتَهُمْ = يخوضون ويتحدثون.
Sahl Bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported:
On the day of Khaibar, the Prophet (PBUH) said, "Tomorrow I shall give this flag to a man through whom Allah will grant victory. He loves Allah and His Messenger and he is loved by Allah and His Messenger."
The people spent that night wondering whom it would be given to. In the morning they went to the prophet (PBUH) and everyone of them was hoping to receive it (the flag).
The Prophet said, "Where is Ali Bin Abi Talib?"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَليهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
[ إِنَّ عُثْمَانَ حَيِيٌّ سَتِيرٌ،
تَسْتَحْييِ مِنْهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ ].
حَدِيثُ صَحِيحٌ رَوَاهُ الطبراني.
The Prophet (PBUH) said:
"Othman is modest, keen on covering himself, and angels show modesty to him."
Narrated by Al Tabarani.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ :
[ لَقَدْ كَانَ فِيمَا قَبْلَكُمْ مِنَ الأُمَمِ مُحَدَّثُونَ، فَإِنْ يَكُ فِي أُمَّتِي أَحَدٌ فَإِنَّهُ عُمَرُ ].
رَوَاهُ البُخَاريُ.
الْمُحَدَّثِين = المُلهَمين الَّذين يَجري الصَّوابُ على أَلسنَتِهم.
The Prophet (PBUH) said:
"There were Muhaddathon among the nations before you. If there is such one among my followers, he must be Omar."
Narrated by Al Bukhari.
Muhaddathon (inspired people who give right opinions)
