She left like he was never
a reason to stay.
The moment she walked away,
the world crumbled around him.
He tried to call her back.
"Please, just tell me why,"
he pleaded, his voice cracking.
She didn’t look back
There’s nothing left to say"
she whispered,
her steps fading into the darkness.
He clung to the last thread of hope,
but she treated him like he was invisible
like the love he gave was never
enough to keep her close.
Every plan they made,
every dream they shared,
vanished like smoke in the wind.
"Did I ever matter to you?"
he asked when she finally stopped.
Her silence said everything.
And so she left without a second glance,
leaving him to wonder if he was
ever truly a reason for her to stay.
